Hohner seems like a company that would go forward with any cool idea. Was there a market for an electric thumb piano? I feel like they just went for it because it was cool. Same with the Clavinet, and look how well that turned out!
Awesome, sounds a bit like a hang drum which is also extremely difficult to find. I would love to see how you play this instrument. It looks unlike any other instrument I've seen.
I have been looking for one of these for ages. Almost impossible to find one that is for sale. There's very limited info about it available, and sound clips are next to nonexistant - until now! Thanks for posting this!
I posted another snippet. Ironically, I had the Guitaret for 15 years and couldn't figure it out until the day I decided to sell it. These recordings where done years ago and sent to the buyer so he could make up his mind. He bought my Guitaret the next day.
