  • I make these all the time, I use anise flavoring, sometimes lemon and orange to make them a little different. Delicious. For Christmas I do red and green frosting with Christmas sprinkles.

  • Star: These are so good, I make them every Xmas and Easter. Mine call for crisco in place of your oil, but today I will try your way...it will be easier and hopefully even better. Today I will put some lemon juice and lemon zest in he icing, but I love the Vanilla too. Have a blessed Easter!

  • You for got the Anise oil 1-2 teas to make real Italian, And add 1/2 cup sour cream, Use only 3 egges, 1/2 vanilla

    6 teaspoons baking powder

    1 1/3 cup sugar

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    6 eggs

    1 cup oil

    1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes

  • youre welcome. the recipe makes quite a bit, though i dont know remember the number. frost them with a mixture of confectioners sugar and water (until its frosting consistency). add food coloring and top with spinkles for a festive holiday look. hope you enjoy!
