  • great video, and chris daughtry has a very emotional awesome voice perfect song for your video.

  • Just keep religion on a personal level. if i told you the benefits of athiest life, you would not agree. dont put ur shite videos on here dude. u fat piece of shit. u do know if u r wrong and jesus aint real that all u pro-god people have wasted lives that could of been fun instead of odd.u cant even breath. i think ur fatness is hindering ur belief in the lord.

  • TC - 1) I lived the atheist life - It isn't that I don't believe you have perceived benefits - its that I've found something better in the Lord. 2) Ummm... its youtube - get a life - don't watch if you think they are 'shite' 3) were you stoned when you wrote this? 'u do know if u r wrong and jesus aint real that all u pro-god people have wasted lives that could of been fun instead of odd.' Get a life TC - watch a video you like...

  • You, sir, need to grow up.

    That is all.

    God Bless.

  • your right, and this video is a blessing!

  • cool video

    God Bless You!

    In Faith,

    Amanda

  • 1Corithians2:

13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.[a] 14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them

  • christoferL, from your videos I think it's clear that you are trying to love everyone or at least not to hate.

Can you tell me how do you explain to yourself these words of your god?

"You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape the damnation of hell?" Mat 23:33

I know the context, and the idea behind, what bothers me is the form Jesus used, it doesn't sound like "love your enemy" at all..

  • well- sometimes you've got to call a spade a spade - I mean - the Pharisees were very unique in that they claimed to know better, and yet were the worst possible sinners for denying the truth before them - they were being snakes about it - He prayed for them for the cross - so I am sure He still loves them.

  • Yes christofer, I understand the story but it still doesn't explain why he was so rude at them. You also, in many of your videos, recognized that some people (even Christians) were hypocrites but you NEVER (as far as I can recall) called them serpents or vipers or any other..

As I see it, you follow his commandments better then he himself did! ;)

  • yancur - thats because you are trying to judge one who could see their hearts - and knew them better than they knew themselves. I fall short constantly - but I strive not to simply because I can't really see hearts. I can see some actions and say - that ain't right - but I don't know where God is taking them ultimately - so I try to refrain from insults... though I have often failed.

  • OK :) Let's assume you could read the "hearts". Would you then insult the hypocritical/judgmental etc people?

If yes, why? If not, why not?

One thing I missed. You said you believe he still loves them? If he still loves them why is he condemning them to hell for all eternity? That's not very loving action to take, is it?

  • yancur - 1) If I could read the heart - then I wouldn't be insulting anyone. It would be an honest evaluation. (calling a spade a spade) If I call a man man - or a woman a woman - thats not an insult - its just honesty. 2) The offer to accept Him gives eternal life, the consequence of refusing is Hell. So - it isn't that He's condemning them, its that they are refusing His offer.

  • 1) But they certainly weren't serpents and vipers chris! If he said "You hypocrites, you liars, how are you to escape the damnation of hell" that would be calling man a man or spade a spade. But he used an insult instead..

    2) Why did he create the hell if he loves them/us all?

  • 1) Actually - they were serpents and vipers - figuratively - using God to exploit the Jewish people 2) Thats a great question. I don't really know, other than to assume the soul is immortal, undying, so there has to be a place to put those who refuse to enter the Light (speculation on my limited behalf)

  • I thought God would destroy both body and soul, and we should fear that. Chris is eternal punishment in the afterlife what Christ taught to fear? Is the soul immortal or is eternal life a gift? Nice vid man, very professional looking.

  • art - you raise a great point - but if a soul is in an eternal hell - isn't it destroyed?

  • could it be that it is destroyed once and the destruction last for eternity, never to be again, instead of a destruction that goes on and on and on for eternity, in a fire that never destroys but tortures with pain forever? Or could it be a purifing process as with the gold and silver where the strw is burnt away, like a metaphor?

  • I am asking not telling.

  • could be - I mean - I really am speculating - I spend most of my energy trying to under how to follow Him in life - and sometimes - with questions about heaven and hell - I don't really have the research for the answers... I guess I'll have to hit the books - lol

  • Yeah me to man. Its always a learning process. But, its real and if it don't fit I can't force it and I have to find out the truth as best I can to make it fit or to make sense of it all and try my best not to lead anyone astray of turn anyone away in the process.

  • 1) If I figuratively call someone "idiot", unless he really is mentally retarded, I am in fact insulting him. So is it with "serpent" or "stupid" or "dog" - you remember our last discussion about the woman he equated with dog?

    2) OK, but why to send them there for all eternity? Infinite punishment for a finite crime doesn't seem very fair to me..

  • 1) of course I remember - but you have this knack of putting Jesus on OUR level - when He is supreme - so it doesn't make sense to u I think 2) I think you're assuming the crime is finite when He knows its infinite perhaps.

  • 1) Before I start to believe, I must compare the supposed deity to the standards I know. If I find that the person in question adheres to much higher standards than any human does, I might start thinking that he might be god. But until then, I use the only standard I have. Human. I know you don't curse people. Jesus did. From my perspective you are more likely to be the true god than Jesus.. ;)

  • Yancur 1) That scares me. Listen - seriously - I would judge if I could see the hearts - heck - sometimes I judge anyways (which is wrong of me). But I do know this - He cared for the poor and the wretched - while condemning the rich and comfortable. He loved everyone, but wasn't one to mince words. He was right & just, not looking for His own gain, but that of others.

  • Christofer, you keep misunderstanding me. The question isn't whether you would judge (if you had the power to see the "hearts"), but would you insult these people or not. Calling someone "serpent" is an insult, no matter how you try to tweak it..

  • yancur - if someone is a serpent - and its in their heart - and I can see it - I would state it just as a murderer is a murderer, a junkie a junkie, a whore a whore, a pimp a pimp (all 'insults' in one way or another) - so yes - I would. But I cannot see their hearts - so I try not to.

  • yancur see if bingolly's video on Hell will help you

  • 2) I will live on this planet at most 100 years. The only serious crime I did, is that I cannot bring myself to believe the story of Jesus. I can't even if I wanted to.. For this "crime" that lasted less then 100 years I shall get millions upon millions upon millions of years of suffering in hell of fire.. In fact infinitely more than that..

  • Yancur - 2) Unfortunately, you are judging by your own standards. Thats what we all do. God's standards are not the same as ours. Besides, sin (crimes) is sin.

  • 2) OK. Sin is a sin. And how do you truly feel about it? The fact that at least 2/3 of the entire planet will suffer in hell for all eternity? People like Einstain, Gandhi, billions of children who have been brought up in other religions?

How could anyone possibly be happy in heaven knowing so great many good and innocent people are suffering and forever will suffer?

  • Well - for one - God will save whom God will save. Not all Christians are guaranteed an 'in' if they are giving lip service to God. I really believe in relationship with God over religion. How could I be happy with anyone burning in Hell? I am not sure they would come to mind... I don't remember my birth - and I see this life as a birth into the next - so I don't think thats a fair question.

  • So what you are basically saying is that in heaven you will loose part of your memory? What if some of your close friends/family won't be in heaven? Will your God delete your memories about them to force you to be happy? If so how could you possibly say it's still YOU? Personality is made up by thought processes going on in mind and memories. The memories affect the thought process and vice versa. If you alter one, how can you possibly claim it's still the same person?

  • yancur - well - I know there will be no tears in heaven - so I guess memories like that would have to be lost - an egg is still egg even after its shell is broken and the whites and yoke poured out, no? There are mysteries about the end - and you like to run right up to them and go - what about this? but all I can say is I'm not sure how it will work - but I am sure it will in fact work.

  • great video chris, we have to keep close to him in all we do. Situations change so quickly on youtube. I have seen a complete change for the good with someone on youtube this week that I can only describe as a miracle. God will work when we are obediant

  • This is your best video my brother! Absolutely, Our Lord was speaking through you. Amen!

  • Praise God for His amazing grace - beautiful production Chris - words from your heart - amen! amen!

  • Outstanding video. Praise Jesus

  • OK, you know I dig the word, now how did you do the twirly thing with the camera?? very cool.

  • yoke - thanks - believe it or not - I use a tiny camera called the small wonder by rca - I just held it in my hand and rotated my body by shifting my feet through the video - keeping my head still - at the end I just moved my arm across my body and thats why it goes down like it does.

  • Awesome Dude, that was great....

  • Many people say they know jesus but never know the holy spirit and many live the sameday because they dont and because they dont know they never grow as a christian should.

  • cavman - I agree - a lot of times becoming a Christian seems to be like going to see a movie - there's the initial thrill - and then as the memory fades - so does the interest - but the seeds are planted - perhaps the growth will come later, Lord willing.

  • lol - who did?

  • nice vid bro, some deep insights.

    God bless you Chris
