@jerjer12111 That butterfly die is from Cheery Lynn. I received it as a gift, but Cheery Lynn dies are sold lots of places online, including the manufacturer's website. Hope that helps!
You are great! I love watching you, it always looks easy! Im always inspired to go and make something after watching you but I always end up with a hot mess!!! :)
Kathryn - another wonderful tutorial. Reminding me yet again to work with different color combinations. Your tutorials are quite easy to follow step by step thank you.
wow Kathryn! this album is so gorgeous! thanks for sharing...I wish I could have a part of your talent...it seems so easy when I watch you, you surely inspire me to make more paper bag albums...thanks again!
@jozazoo It looks easy because I edit out all the parts where I'm just sitting around & trying to figure out what to do! :D I tend to make decisions pretty quickly, but I certainly don't scrap as fast as these videos would have you believe. I hope you enjoy crafting some paper bag albums & I am so happy to have inspired you!
I love this . I'm so glad you did it step by step . When you'r new to making paper bag mini's like i am it helps so much to have a video like your that you can watch and do step by step along with you . :))))
@hottiekaylie89 I'm so glad you're enjoying the step-by-step videos & the project as well. :D I hope you have tons of fun making your paper bag minis. Watch out, though, because they can become addicting!
@ChocoDrop2 I don't have the album anymore to measure, but I believe the kraft tags that go in the pockets were 4.5"x6.75" and the photo mats/journaling spots were 4.25"x6.25". I only put one journaling spot per pocket, even though there are two tags per pocket. That way there was room for three photos per pocket and the journaling spots are big enough to have room to write about all three.
I love it....I love how you made your flowers pop.....great idea.....and I never thought to trace my die to get a smaller piece....will have to try that...thank you so much for sharing this with us....I really enjoyed it....
I like it a lot, but watching so many videos online, they all kind of start to look alike... it's kind of like 'seen one, seen 'em all' kind of feeling...
@TheSkyIsntTheLimit12 That happens to me sometimes, too, when I have been watching a lot of videos. There are only so many places to put things on a page & we're all using the same supplies, so things can start to blend together. When I start to feel that way, I take a break from videos and look in magazines and online on blogs and check out sites for cards and layouts and things other than mini albums to try and refresh my brain and get new inspiration.
love love this mini I just order the papers , yellow and red are my fav colors so I am definily making this mini , thanks for the inspiration , I miss making minis Id been so busy making 12x 12 LO for my nieces so I need a break this will be a nice one
My problema is matching the collections and using all my scraps. LOL! I have a hard time with color combination, It looks like.... a mish mash of... oh God I do not know how to describe itLOL , I end up throwing it away because i do not know yet how to use scraps deco. Practice practice practice makes the master :))))))
@ENAIRAMA1 If you need some help with combining colors, go to colorschemedesigner . com and check out their interactive tools ~ it can really help you pick out some fun color combinations! And just playing with the papers and seeing what you like and don't like helps too. I throw things in the trash sometimes too. That's how I learn! :D
@slatsinhi The bags came from Michael's and the papers and embellishments came from all over: some I bought online and some I had in my scraproom already.
@sexsavannah43 There is a link in the video description to my blog where you can see photos of the finished pages. The final video in this series will be of the completed album, so a video is coming up!
very very nice Kathryn. Can you please tell me where the butterfly die can be seen. I went to Memory Box site and could not find anything as you described. TY and cannot wait to see the rest of the album.
Another amazing tutorial, you are so easy to follow. Love it! TFS x
