FYI, all NFL PF Debaters... I have spoken with Judges and they HATE when you "signpost contentions" (as they do at 2:24) also. You ALWAYS STAND during Crossex, and SIT for grand crossfire, but yes, 1st speaker ALWAYS has first question. 5:42 AMAZING POINT. I've won debates just because I'm a girl and the opponents were way to aggressive. 7:57 not good of 'good team' never say, 'you're going to lose the debate' bad idea. idk if that was meant to be a joke or not. Like the video though
I thought it was extremely distasteful to have the idiots in the video making fun of conservatives and making the left wing liberals seem like the only level-headed people. It was very subtle, but I guess all the viewers on youtube aren't as incompetent as you expected.
@pianosa1993 Pianosa1993, although I can appreciate your position, I will also have you know that I, and the two of the other debaters in this video are actually conservatives. Honestly, it just so happened that the more conservative-appearing side was looney. This movie has no political motives, but if it did, we would have made it with a strong conservative undertone seeing as though the majority of those included are registered Republicans.

One tip. At 4:30-ish, when you start the rebuttle, begin by attacking the other case, and focus mostly on that with your time. Defending your own case first often looks like a sign of weakness to judges. Unless your contentions directly negate the opposition.
I would *totally* have voted for Neg though. The Pulling Out Food During Prep is a great tactic. As is RoShamBo during FFL Quals.
Stable nations are a greater threat to america, Threat = ability to. .... Stable nations are attacking us, failed nations are a threat, but stable nations have far more resources, finances, and ability to screw us over ;)
Stable nations also harbor terrorist groups. The IRA (although recently disbanded) was still a terrirorist group in the very stable nation of ireland. And, although nuclear weapons are still a threat, don't stable nations have the as well? Russia has many more nukes than a small terrorist group in somalia. And not only do stable nations have nuclear threat but they also have economic power to cut off trade with America. Thus, destroying our country from within aka china.

We debated in Palm Beach County mostly, we did Blue Key two years and other debates in various parts of Florida: Winter Springs, Crestian, etc.
