My God, it doesn't look like the developers addressed ANY problems in the original game. I thoroughly enjoyed the combat and the ability to lead and strategize battles, but the game was truly made with mods.

Otherwise, they'd be developing a poorly executed and incomplete game with repetitive quests, poor dialogue, and vagueness. Oh, and all of that is topped off with the feeling that you don't know what the Hell you're going to do next...

Thats true for the actual middle ages. This game is very low fantasy - but it does not represent the middle ages. In the game, religion plays almost no role as it seems. There are no chruches in the towns or anything.

You can even create armies of 'sword sisters'. To me, this world seems more tolerant. But even if not - gays existed in the middle ages too. Neither they nor the player would have to tell everyone.

The argument that I agree with, though, is that it's much work with little gain.

Why not? And just to clear something up, I'm not asking for gay weddings in game. That'd not be realistic in the games context. But a relationship wouldn't have hurt. (Keep in mind we have female warriors in game who can win tournaments etc. It's not the real world.)

Though of course we're a minority, the time the Devs for the game have is limited and so is the content. But I'd have been happy about it. Just like I'd be happy about new formations, less random politics etc.

I want to see an improved map. Like strategicaly placed towns, castles (in the old one the villages are not defended by the castles) If the castle change owner the village should be protected by it afterwards too.

In the mod Calradia at War we can see a very well placed town-village system. I would like to see something like that in warband.

Or an official mapcreator will do instead of that.
