I think this Tawain version scene of the family money debt problem is the best out of Japanese/Korean versions. Really good acting here between the mother and father.

I knew that when it comes to animanga/dramas/life there's always a time when the poor character asks the rich character for emergency money. I'm glad that for this story, it's done much farther into the story where it isn't just an easy arc to get accelerate the first kiss or something. -_-" At least Shancai didn't cry giving the details. That's enough pride for me. ^^

The borrowing money is juz the reason for her to be Ming Si's housemaid later in the drama. Shan Cai dont have money to pay back that's why she have to work in his house instead and it will lead to a lot of cute and sweet scenes <3 x]

@RiceUhRhea Nawhh In the manga the poor girl asked for the money and she ran all the way to Tsukasas(Si) mansion and asked for the money for her family and shieet . And she tried paying him back from entering this contest...I think ahha :)

I have to agree, this really falls flat of the manga for me- Makino would never be excited over not having to pay, she has far too much pride to ever consider not repaying. And I don't think the situation was played out well... but AHHHHH. Every freaking adaptation I fall in love with Domyouji/DMS <3

I think that the problem with the money it was better told in the anime, but let's see the rest and after that I will say if I'm disappointed or I'm happy
