Its odd that he says to only do it to one eye though since if one eye sees something usually the other eyes sees the exact same thing...Either way, I don't see to many one eyed Christians walking around either. I guess they would rather go to hell with two eyes than enter the kingdom with only one, huh?

Jesus also says in Matthew ch. 5 to rip your eye out if you look at a woman lustfully. How many one eyed or blind Christians do you see walking around? Not to many. All men have looked at women lustfully in their lives. Lust is human nature, so if you believe Jesus was lord and he says to rip your eye out then you should rip your eye out. I don't believe that, so I wouldn't do it. But Christians (supposedly) do believe it, yet I've yet to hear of one tearing out their eyes. Hypocrites!

sex and relationship are real things people deal with everyday and porn is an avenue where people can temporarily fantasy about being with a man/woman because relationships are tough to get most of the time. and its up to the person to correctly interpret the truth meaning of sex when watching porn. as opposed to blaming porn itself, do grocery store tell you that sometime opening up a glass of pickles is going to be hard as heck no they assume you already knew.

I've known people who have lost jobs and families because of food addiction, video game addiction, shopping addiction, etc. For ever sob story pedaled by XXX Church about some poor insecure girl whose life was "ruined" by the porn industry(it usually turns out to be past sexual abuse), there are countless more stories of smart, competent and normal people with college degrees who simply enjoy sexual voyeurism. There is no "one size fits all" porn scenario.

The way I've always understood almost all sin, if not all, is a diversion of something good righteous. I would argue that sex is great and something that was designed by God for certain circumstances for bringing joy, pleasure, and community between a married couple. It's when sex gets mistreated that it becomes a problem.
