i love watching ur videos BUT u seem to either misunderstand or not really pay much attention to the hints left by the creators at all it seems. The note clearly tells u to drop attack the boar. So once he chases u down the hall roll around him get on the top while he slowely walks back up. once u r on the top of the stairs go to the sides and jump down with special attack u should be able to kill him in maybe 3-5 tries ^^

You can just run up the stairs to the bridge and the dragon will set it on fire taking out everyone on the bridge. Which also makes for excellent soul farming.

To get the boar helm, shoot his helmet off while standing on the bridge where the archers are at. It's got good defense, but looks kinda weird without massive armor and it's pretty heavy, so you'll low down noticeably.

when you are going up the steps to the bridge i would run up to were the dragon would set the bridge on fire collect the souls purposely die trying to get the items at the end and collect a bunch of souls

@ihevR I got Dark Souls in the last week as well, and while the beginning seems boring, the game becomes incredibly addictive very early on. But if you think it's boring, then you have no hope of ever enjoying this game, because it takes dedication and a ton of effort, and a LOT of patience. You may as well just sell it if you've already given up, but if you persevere, and realize this isn't a god of war type game, then the reward is far beyond anything any other game can offer.

to get the boar without struggle, just Stand on the "bridge" above him. buy 20-30 large arrows and shoot him close to it's bow/torso and cash in your boar helm! :D

I found it really helpfull to get the drake sword and using it to kill that black Knight guy. and he drops a sword that does 220 damage :) ..im going to use these only for tough enemies like that boar

Being a sorcerer makes killing this guy very easy. Just go up high and shoot fire magic at it like 20 times. Same with beating the big knight in the alley way. Go up to the roof and and do the same thing. Glad I picked sorcerer.

on the dragon bridge just run out there real quick then run back down stairs and the dragon will light the dudes on fire and you get an easy 300 souls

to kill the dragon you could snipe it from under the bridge. but you would need the merchant to do it. it takes soooo meany arrows. and with the pike people on the bridge, just step in the black oily looking part of the bridge to get the dragon to breath fire. i got a fang bore helm from the bore. although i killed it in two shots. i used the sword that the night you fought doped when he died.

Strength doesn't improve the Uchigatana. Only dexterity does. If you look at the weapon, it will give a letter grade under strength or dex, depending on how much your hitting power scales with each stat. Best to Worse: S, A, B, C, D, E

The Uchigatana isn't real helpful right now because it has very low durability. Probably need a repairbox before using it as your main weapon.

@Mekias at this part of the game, don't count on any weapon as your standard weapon xD ... I believe you can start thinking about standart weapons when you've found a smith who can forge it for you

btw the meter for poison doesn't mean you're poisoned it shows you how close you are to being poisoned, when the meter hits the end you get poisoned

I use a different strategy to kill the boar. Frist I got past it by dropping down from archer perch into the staircase. Eventually you end up on the other side of that gate.

I open gate up, lure the boar in, and then slam the gate down on it. Instant kill.

Though the fire stratgy is probably safer

that's a poison METER it doesnt poison you until it is completely raised up so be wary of it but dont fret if you get hit once or twice
