I'm so sorry your comment was deleted. I have never deleted any internet comment on my work. So that is a bit of a mystery to me.

I am always very clear about my technique.

As someone who can draw from life, from imagination or using photo reference, I have no problem showing people when I am using photos. Indeed I did trace the outline of the boy's face on to the board. I say so very clearly in the film.

Well done!!! It's really great!! You're as good as Vermeer, and I'm not teasing you, because for me Vermeer is one of the greatest. And I like watching painters because I learn a lot, just by observing the gestures. I've learned a lot from my teacher of iconography just by watching the way she moves her pencil. (I'm sorry for my bad English, but I'm a French student...)
