  • Better keep your fingers out of there.

  • fast as anyway

  • Thats not a very good way to get ahead in life

  • Get better soon!!

  • that's how is supposed to work, you screw up you pay and hope the he knew before he went....damm no way to fix this

  • random fact this is how a revolution started

  • random comment

  • when the head goes. you are still conscious for two to three seconds. so you will know what has happend to you. that must be a horrible end to die

  • Today in school, i learned that when you have your head cut of by guillotine, your head is still alive for about 45 seconds! you can see, hear, smell, and feel pain! but u cant talk since you have no vocal chords :D

  • @ablahblahblah17

No, it is not true. If the encephalon of alive human does not receive oxygen - he collapses. If a head is cut off the same situation - a head can not stay alive -)))

  • @ablahblahblah17 Man, a head can't smell without the lungs. The only way to avoid the experience of pain is to crush the head (using a 50mm cannon perhaps), not cut it... it's a messy method but from my point of view - more humane than beheading. Hehe

  • i wonder what he did

  • @DyNxMoNsTeRzZ rapist and killed many people

  • @DyNxMoNsTeRzZ killed 6 people i think, his name is eugen

  • anybody play this with the snowflake feature???

  • this isnt the last execution. the last one took place in 1977 and was never recorded.

  • @diecartmandie your are correct, this was the last public execution and it was secretly recorded

  • Comment removed

  • @diecartmandie Yes, the last execution, probably a miscarriage of justice (by the way, Mitterrand abolished the pain of death shortly after), but here is the last PUBLIC execution in 1939, the 17 of june, of Eugen WEIDMANN . Sorry if my english isn't good, I'm from guillotine's country !

  • @electrictroy2010

I disagree strongly. Civilisation must be able to set rules, speak out fines and even death, if members and citizens chose to hurt and kill others. Why should a person has to endure and pay for the killers, the drug addicts and dealers and all that orgainized crime? Regular citizen are being forced to sit back and let the state handle things and get killed in the meantime. It is time that those who do not value real democrazies, must taken their rights, even if it means death.

  • you can do it... cut his fucking head off....

  • @NebulaDNB Hahaha u leg-end

  • @balmedie2k10 had to be done

  • This seems like the most humane way to kill someone. Pretty quick and painless

  • I personally disagree with a state killing it's own citizens, but if it's going to happen it might as well be guns and swords and guillotines, rather than this injection shit

  • fake

  • People should't lose their head so easy ....

  • I'm in that part of youtube again...

  • @nholt So original, did you make that up yourself?

  • @TheShadowFX No I copied it from you

  • How can they film this??

  • Damn...this is the best way to get rid of a headache...

  • @zcg3 haha...it sure does..

  • @zcg3 But a great way to get a neckache!

  • DAMN...Lol

  • goodbye my dinner

  • This may have been the last public execution by guillotine, but executions continued in French prisons for several years after this. It's hard to believe that this punishment was in fact legal in France until 1981, with the last guillotining being as recently as 1977.

  • @paulph12002 I don't know why you find it hard to believe. Guillotine is the most human method of death... the subject dies instantly. I'd rather be exxecuted like this than by electrocution (slow/painful) or gas (choking and gasping for breath)

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 That's BULLSHIT! Check your history! There was one account where an executioner looked at the head of a man and called his name, the head opened it's eyes and looked. The body jerks violently sometimes for hours afterwards! How the hell do you know anyway? I'd love to see you go under that damned murderous thing and tell us your perceptions afterward! Executions of any kind are inhuman, and demonic! How I detest people that speak of things they obviously know nothing about!

  • @TheShadowFX It wasn't the executioner, it was a doctor afterward, and the story has never been proven to be true. And no it does not jerk violently for hours, maybe up to an hour it shakes because the nerves have been disconnected from the source, the brain, so they are out of control.

  • @electrictroy2010 I do not accept what you say. There is nothing humane about the Guillotine, it is a barbaric punishment that has no place in a civilised society.

  • :(

  • HE'S RIGHT....lets not do anything about anyone that commits a crime in case he is wrongfully accused.....be has brave has misterstrongerman and disapprove of punishement for murderers and rapers...LET THEM ALL FREE TO ROAM THE STREETS.....so that his morale values stays untarnished....screw the victims physical and mental health and all their families....their well being is not has important has your feelings........ps your an idiot

  • TO ALL THE COWARDS THAT APPROVE DEATH PENALTY: I would agree with you that a serial killer deserves to die, as long as you are executed too - immediately after even one innocent man is executed by your law and cops to whom you paid taxes for that.....period...you know that there are always some innocent persons sentenced by mistake, right?...so if you finance this knowingly(and you do know about it) by paying taxes, then you become a murderer no different that the serial killers themselves...

  • off with your head

  • Dr Guilotine did NOT invent this machine he merely resurected it

  • Luftwaffe: the countries you mention also have appalling human rights issues, treat women like dirt and are places I would never chose to visit. Public executions are an abomination. If you consider them to be a deterrent against violent crime well I feel sorry for you. I know there are many who would like to see the death penalty reinstated in UK, well it will never happen.

  • A nation is judged by the way it treats both its enemies and its criminals. The death penalty is a relic from the Dark Ages and in a civilized country should never be used. Turkey wants to join the EU,it will have to abolish the death penalty otherwise it cannot be accepted into the union.

  • @rohansrider Saudi Arabia,China,Turkey and many Middle-East countries still follow Public Executions and this countries have very low crime rate saving more lives than in US where everyday Crimes and Violent death are reported.....oh and Western way of Execution during times like the Electric Chair and so called Lethal Injection ar made to make Criminals suffer.

  • @rohansride Turkey will have to change a bit more than just abolishing the death penalty. How about recognizing the extermination in the 20th century of the Greek sitll living in what used to be their own country, occupied by the Turks, Or the extermination of about 1 million Armenians. Or the extermination of some 20.000 christian Assyrians as late as the 1970's. Or the systematic eradication of Kurd language and culture. Turkey is a primitive islam-dominated mediaeval nation.

  • @Oldfaithful61 Yes, being a Grecophile myself I am only too aware of the terrible things that the Turks did. Personally I would prefer that they stayed out of the EU. I mentioned only the death penalty in the context of this present thread.

  • Ahh, the good 'ol days.

  • TO ALL THE COWARDS THAT APPROVE DEATH PENALTY: I would agree with you that a serial killer deserves to die, as long as you are executed too - immediately after even one innocent man is executed by your law and cops to whom you paid taxes for that.....period.

  • @misterstrongerman I'm not saying I disagree with you or agree, but you kind of made an oxymoron there. First you say seriel killers deserve to die then end it with mentioning innocent man being executed.....if it's a serial killer who has been proven through DNA evidence etc, and convicted, I am guessing he/she is not innocent.

  • This is what will happen when Social Security runs out, and the old people are too numerous to feed and care for.

The wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, (and soon Iran) are draining our nations coffers and leaving us destitute. When the money is dried up, and people are desperate, this will be one of the solutions.

  • Ths prisoner was named Eugen Weidmann. Look him up on wikipedia. He was a thief and serial killer. He killed six people with no remorse.

  • They should bring that back, there would be less crime. The day after the last guillotining, the crime rate went up 44% in Paris alone. They need to bring it back, maybe it would go down again.

  • holy shit that's real

  • In reality, there was pain endured by the condemned during the execution. The head (after being seperated from the body), normaly survived for at least 2-3 minutes before dying. The prisonner could feel everything (from his scalp to what was left of the neck). This was proven with an experiment done during the 19th century i think.

  • @diecartmandie

Nonsense: the severing of the spine would cause instant unconsciousness, and besides the brain without a blood supply loses consciousness in seconds

  • @Drblooter99 Nope! The head, once separated, would still feel things as long as there was air left in the brain. If the brain is still intact, even with a cutted spinal cord, the victim would normally survive for at least a minimum of 1 minute. The use of the guillotine stopped when they saw that, by touching the spine of a beheaded head, the face would show atrocious pain which means that the prisonner was still alive for a couple of minutes following the execution.

  • Its the last public execution by Guillotine, the condemned was Eugen Weidmann. Saw this in a documentary once on tv and yes its real footage not from a movie.

  • thats from a movie

  • Vive la France.

  • The pedophiles should be executed by firing squad while hanging tied to an electric chair with a dynamite stick in the ass and a cyanide pill in the mouth !

  • @BarneySecurity Not very cost effective ,bullets are expensive , electricity is too , dynamite would be difficult and then we need rubber gloves , cyanide ? your joking that's far too expensive. how about burial up to the neck a plastic funnel and half a liter of petrol ?

  • @waragainstscumbags That would work i guess, but we can allways think at leaving them inside cages with heards of hungry pigs to be eaten alive.

Pigs would be reusable and when they are fat enough we can use them to feed the rapists and criminals in jails.

  • Soon the French and English will bring back capital punishment. Already a big movement in that direction.

  • @tempjock2000 dream on, idiot!

  • @Croilir "Idiot", That's all you can come up with Swissy? Why don't you go back to steeling savings from Holocaust victims and managing terrorist funds. Maybe if you visited off2dr.com you'd see how many Europeans are members.

  • @tempjock2000 The issue was the guillotine, asshole. So, you want to have capital punishments back in our society? France and England belong to the EU, so there's no chance for your claim. Stay calm and DREAM ON.

I know, you would like to kill someone, isn't it? To be master-sergeant of life and death, isn't it? So, you didn't fuck too much girls, asshole. I did, so I don't belong to your crazy dickheads, sorry..

    DREAM ON!!!

  • @Croilir You're right, Only about 10, but in overall "sessions" I'm pretty sure I have you beat. Also, YOUR sisters and cousins don't count. I do think England and the EU are sick of putting up with their family members being murdered and the criminals smirking at them from behind bars. YES, I AM eager dispatch death row inmates. Every story of child murderers I read about turns me more into a killer. Read what the last guillotine "victim" did before you feel sorry for him.

  • @tempjock2000 I don't feel sorry with him, but the state should't execute people when they are forbidding it for anyone else.. The state should be an exemple of morality and integrity. THERE IS NO WAY, that death penalty will come back. Never ever. So: Dream on, and kill those criminals in a pc game or so, that's all you'll get..

    Bye.

  • @Croilir Never is a long time. "the state" are the people. If that was my sister's throat he slit I couldn't stand knowing he was breathing the same air as me. As the % of citizen-victims increase so will the likelihood of drastic change in any country. Our ancestors were not cruel, blood thirsty animals. Based on the level of violence currently in this world we are not "evolving". I think it will be a lot less messy though with lethal injection.

  • @tempjock2000 the rate of murder is not growing in any country. And the other problem is, that there can be false verdicts. So is it ok for you that some people would be executed that are not guilty? Even if it is the case in only 5%, it's not acceptable! So to avoid such mistakes, it's better not to execute inmates, because it is possible that years after it can be proven that they were innocent. Do you understand that? You blood-thirsty idiot.

  • @tempjock2000 You mean French and British !

  • during execution of me

security:come on its time to die

me: can you instead drown me in bucket of water?

security: why? just go on the electric chair

me: that method of yours...is scary

security: CAPTAIN! BRING A BUCKET OF WATER!

  • What brought me here...?

  • The btk killer getting life in prison is not justice. He should be tortured and killed. And yes that is revenge. What is the difference between and justice and revenge anyways?

  • what is this shit?

  • I love people who think they know better than anyone what is human life ... We don't have the right to decide of the death of an other person ! We aren't into Middle Ages. When justice is bloodshed, it is not justice but a revenge, a bestial and barbaric act.

  • @Azeyral Totally agree with you! You kill because he killed! I don't get it!

  • @Azeyral Morally, that may be right . However, if someone murders another, he(or she) should not be allowed to live. An eye for an eye, (etc)

  • @Azeyral

I don't want to start some debate on the death penalty or anything, but I do think some people aren't deserving. The way I see it is a little bit like this: Eye for an Eye isn't too agreeable with me. I don't think just because you've murded someone you deserve the death penalty, there are circumstances which change the type of murder that's been committed. I do believe in certain circumstances: by taking the basic rights of another you surrender your own basic rights to the same.

  • @Azeyral

"We don't have the right to decide of the death of an other person!"

--As a society, yes we do. Tell me, if Hitler hadn't shot himself, you'd prefer he was given a nice, cozy cell all to himself, with a nice soft bed and pillow, and a desk for him to write his memoirs, and a newspaper every day, and three hot meals a day, and no one could look at him funny or speak ill in front of him, etc., etc., etc. Right? And that is "punishment" or "justice?" Not to 99.999% of the world.

  • The french did it wrong they should have turned the criminal around to face up so he can watch that blade come down

  • @indianastan Actually, that was a decision made at the moment... I think there was no procedure for this kind of execution, so the condemned one would be upside down or whatever at razor-time...

  • ...its more humaine than some of the other things they did

  • there is no excuse to death penalty

  • @braeghandaerthen Like there is no excuse for the crimes the criminal committed to get the death penalty? Raping, torturing or murdering some innocent person for their crimes... but hey, give the criminals a break, right?

  • @braeghandaerthen Completely disagree with this statement. Let something happen to one of my children or my wife, that person will be dead by MY hand before the courts get a chance at him....

  • @DSVetDad i understand what you think, i've a daughter too, my mind knows death penalty is a very bad thing, and i also know if anyone hurts my daughter, i would destroy this one, but thats will not be justice.

  • @braeghandaerthen I understand your point, you presented it well

  • @braeghandaerthen Bullshit to the both of you. Kill em all and let your God do with them as He will. We just do not want to pay for his or hers incarceration. What a load....

  • @4shacks1house it costs more for execution ten incarceration. I'm not against the death penalty for certain crimes involving unnecessary torture or rape, but single random murders Id rather take the cheap route for costs and probably less evidence will be avalaible. You never want to put a punishment worse then the crime

  • @Ac220404

"You never want to put a punishment worse then the crime"

--Using your example, how is the killing of a murderer a worse crime than the original?

  • LOL

    Eugen Weidmann got owned

  • that all happened fast

  • thats real

  • @TheJames1233 NO SHIT!

  • Dr Guillotine invented this machine so that criminals could be executed without pain. His motive was a pure one. It is such a pity that people associate his name with horror. Up to that time is was not unusual for executions to go wrong and cause the condemned person unnecessary pain and suffering. At least it didn't take three strokes of the axe to finish the job, or dangling from a rope while turning blue..

  • @gedanate Correction, Dr Guillotine did not invent the machine. He suggested it to the French parliament. It was in existence long before then.

  • @gedanate

.. Short dropping usually isn't intentional. The point is to break the neck and you die more or less instantly - that is if they don't long drop you and decapitate you in the process. Interesting enough it is documentated that after being decapitated by a guillotine some people show signs of consciousness (this is debatable) and actually the Guillotine is figured to be a remarkably painful way to go - more so than to be hung.

  • @gedanate

Actually, Dr. GUILLOTIN (Joseph Ignace GUILLOTIN) didn't invent it at all. He proposed a law to "unify" the death penalties (although he was against death penalty himself), and ordered the design of a machine to do the job painlessly to another physician, Dr Antoine LOUIS, who invented it.

  • @gedanate You make the Guillotine sound like the perfect solution. It wasnt. It frequently got stuck on the way down or part way through the cut. There is also firm observational evidence to suggest that the head, once severed remained `alive`, or at least cerebrally (spelling?) active for some time after the execution. I think the Russians have it right. A quick bullet to the back of the head gets my vote.

  • @gedanate His motive was good but by anyones standards that act is horrorific. So it's natural others will find it so to. Maybe putting his name to it was a bit stupid he possibly allowed his ego tell him what to do instead of his wisdom. But by putting his name to it tells me he was proud of it and not very compassionate towards those who went under it

  • @gedanate Explain to me again why a head being dismembered from a body isn't horrific. Guess I'm missing something.

  • @gedanate Interesting background.

  • @gedanate

the rope is supposed to break your neck not strangle you, so that's actually the 'best' method

  • if they did this now days crime would go down ALOT!!! but noooooooooooo this is inhumane.

  • @ko41593 Uuuumm, maybe because this is a crime against humanity in and of itself. All capital punishment, not just this.

  • @unblackcellofreak777 It's only a crime against humanity if the person being punished isn't a criminal.

  • @unblackcellofreak777 Your birth is a crime against humanity pussy

  • yes that is real it happened in france way back when. The camera was not allowed and was kept hidden in a window at the time.

  • Oh yes, that is real. Executions ftw!

  • This is the execution of Eugene Weidmann on June 17 1939 in Versailles. It's the last public execution in metropolitan France.

  • Comment removed

  • This is real.

The guy in that video seemed to be quite nervous and weird... If only he'd remained calm and not lost his head...

  • this had to have been from the late 70s

  • was in france like in the late 60 or early 70s it was the last time this method of exacution was used. history channal did a show about it

  • fuck me i only wanted a trim .

  • I've seen this before, it was in France. It's real.

  • TALK ABOUT GIVING HEAD

  • No it's in France.

  • This was in Germany I believe. Well I wont Beheading there soon.

  • So where is the blood?

  • this was real i saw it on the history channel. it was back in nazi germany i believe

  • Wow did they only have black and white cellphones back in those days

  • @Hannible100

no silly, everything was black n white.

  • peadophiles should get this done to them

  • @richthemadbiker To their penis' first. >,>

  • @richthemadbiker Except with their dicks...

  • @richthemadbiker No that is far too quick. Tie them over a shoot of fast growing bamboo, or inject their lungs with flesh eating bacteria.

  • @Verac1ty No, the punishment would not fit the crime. They would just have to be inflicted the same pain they caused on them, if they even caused any pain at all.

  • @richthemadbiker

    Illiterate spellers too.

  • @richthemadbiker

    and rapists

  • @StanwoodSpartans yes i quite agree with you and you like them beheaded publicly mums take their little boys to watch tell them you rape a girl your head will be done? think women should use or not use comdoms so be evidence of it? think women are 100% trustworthy?

  • was this the execution of Eugene Weidmann? not sure if spelling of last name is correct.

  • @diggydirtEO yeah. this video is real. it was shot in secret, it is eugene weidman. they closed down public executions after this one.

  • @diggydirtEO

Yes, and your spelling is right, he was German.

  • That was a leg of lamb!

  • If the Wall Street banksters keep pulling their sh*t, those guillotines are gonna be making a popular comeback soon.

  • The horror of this type of beheading is that there may be some moments of consciousness after the blade strikes.

  • that was the time when France and the other countries were not such a fag. Nowday, they forgive even to the worst Serial Killer.

  • Thanks for the heads-up.

  • well ! atleast france stopped executions after this one ! THE USA is the only western country now that still executes people!

  • @11mrjarjar Charles Manson is the best reason why there should be a death penalty.

  • Yes, I believe there is. There is an account of a French, 18th century execution whereby the guillotined man agreed to blink directly after execution. Witnesses counted about half a dozen blinks before brain death commenced. There is no proof to the contrary that a guillotined person cannot feel terrible pain up to the time of actual and real death. True execution that does not involve pain remains a total disruption of the brain, ie, a bullet through the brain.

  • @Holland1953 A few WWII POW survivors described how one of their group was decapitated by a Japanese guard's samurai sword and they saw the severed head on the ground mouthing some words for a few seconds, either to say a silent prayer for itself or to curse his murderers.

  • @MiHiVidz , yes I would totally concur with you.

  • Ok let's not loose our heads over weather it's real or not.

  • @shivercanada Really?

  • @shivercanada >weather

  • @hitmankgm >spelle cheking geeke waud

  • @shivercanada im just saying...

  • @shivercanada "loose"?

  • @shivercanada

    good one :)

  • @shivercanada It's real. I saw this footage in a documentary once.

  • @shivercanada its definately 110 per cent real he lost his head into the waiting basket

  • grose

  • Kaffyboy, public execution, you're absolutely right. I forgot to mention that it was a non-public execution.
