TNA's always been extreme from the beginning. for example just go check out any TNA PPV or impact video matches involving hardcore rules. it's the WWE that's been watered down since 2002 when vince got sued for sole ownership of the WWF name. soon after that WWF slowly changed for the worst when the WWE era begin. WWE hasn't been the same from that day forward. you still see old school WWF fans reliving the attitude era on youtube cause the current product sucks.

btw as to shawn michaels match with taker. it was good. but only the last couple of minutes. however when you look back at it now. it wasn't anything special except for shawn kicking out of takers lastride. chokeslam and tombstone..any tna wrestler can do that and more. shawn was basically getting his ass handed to him finisher after finisher. shawn barely did like two moves in the remaining of 7 minutes before getting pinned by another tombstone. that's not what i would call great booking.
