nice vid. where can the setting that "windows that pop out in 3D when viewed diagonally -while rotating the cube-" can be found?? Cannot find it in either GL prefs or Desktop Effects prefs!! than in advance!!
thank you for your quick reply, i have succesfully installed all the packages and can view+use the 3D cube. Only thing i wasn't able to have is the windows to pop-out from each side of the cube, creating a full 3D expierience rather than just 4 flat desktops stuck on each side. What i am looking for is probably just a setting or a little package for that setting. thank again though :)
Although of course you don't need a quad core processor to run compiz fusion, in fact some clever sort got it running quite happily on an Asus EEE PC which has a 900mhz processor and 512mbs of RAM and not much else!
The plugin 3d windows DOES NOT FUCKING WORK. IT CAUSES XORG TO CRASH UPON INITIALIZATION. YOU ARE A FUCKING RETARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's actually an old version of the plugin, it's being rewritten atm if I am correct to be included in one of the next major stable releases
