I don`t wanna be out of line here, but I enjoy this version more than the original. Eddie Vedder to me has to be the ultimate front man / singer with a voice that seems to come from heaven. R.I.P Andy Wood. And Thank You for leaving us with some beautiful music !
I do believe it is the first time Eddie performed one of Andy's songs too. Am I correct? I love every song Andy made when with Mother Love Bone, though I must admit my library is lacking his earlier works.
I can't believe this is the first time they ever played this song. It is fitting though, 10 years anniversary. I am sure they will pay it at the 20th anniversary show at Bridge School.
I never knew there was video of this!! My fav performance ever! Mike's most beautiful solo! I fell in love with this song the first time I ever heard it and have felt exactly the same way about it through the hundreds (probably thousands by now haha) of times I've listened to it!
P.S. You haven't really HEARD it until you've listened to it on vinyl, IMO!
