  • I thought a banshee was an old women with long gret hair....

  • Thankyou for not putting some tacky pop-up that would of ruined this story. (:

  • I heard her cry !! the moon turned blood red that night

  • @sunchilde68 really did sum1 u no die

  • Does anyone know the site where this is from? I'd like to watch more of their videos!

  • I've always liked the folklore of my ancestors. Why the hell did they have to come to America? I don't feel like I belong here.

  • i remember hearing this i was in me homeland of ireland and hearing the wail it was spin chilling

  • Good story but my question is that if only the person whos going to die listens to the banshee or does everyone else whos around the dying person

  • @redphantom85617 Everyone hears it especially the ones closest to the person who is to die she cries for 3 Nights in a row when she stops on the 3rd Night the person dies.

  • That was a good video!

  • wow thats a awsome story

  • I found out that Blackbeard did have a step daughter named Penelope-what a coinky-dink : S WELP! That fits in with the story then, Penelope is the estranged daughter of Blackbeard. The story of how she met Wilhelmina is she ran away from home, due to turmoil, to a beautiful island where she meets her, they become friends she lets her live there with her. As I said before Penelope mysteriously connects with being like the banshee in which there will be a scene like this in the movie =D

  • a banshee only comes when someone in your family is about to dis i live in ireland and their is an abondened house were banshes are said to live and i have heard them cry

  • Im Irish and wenever some one in my family passes away i hear the Banshee's cry late at night a lot of people are afraid of her but she is just the lost spirit of a young girl who's family was murdered whilst camping in the Wicklow Mountains she will not haunt yyou . you will meerly hear her cry as a loved one passes.

  • I once heard something that sound just like that me and my bro were walking in some woods one night and we heard that I all most crapped my pants cause then after we saw a black figure so we booked it out of there

  • Oh it just means that someone, usually in the family, is about to pass away, mostly with lingering deaths but not all the time. I'm in the USA and I didn't even know about the Banshee when I did hear the crying so it was very interesting to find out : S

  • The Banshee Spirit does resemble a young girl (not resembling anyone specific) She's only heard by people who have imagination even if they don't realize they do. She gives warning of death or mourns of death by screaming or crying, sometimes not sounding human at all. She's nothing to be scared of, that's just what she does : )

  • This is something similar to the mexican folklore of the Llorona...I love to listen to folklore stories, while sitting in the dark around a fire..=)

  • What a scary story! my goodness I thought there would be a pop up thing that screamed really really loud! I had my volume down just in case the whole tim.

  • @Ikesgurl123 me 2

  • The legend of Banshee should not be ingnored ...there's too much good stuff here-It's perfect! =D

  • I do not want to hear the banshee cry. That would scare so bad I would shit myself!

  • Damn, that gave me goosebumps like nobody's business.

    5 stars.

  • omg bansees arnet young ther old women about 4 foot in height, long hair, and comeing it

  • and u would know this cavness, because?

  • The skeletons are fucken creepy

  • omg that was so good when i was young my mam told me about the banshee and i always thaught that the banshee comes into your house and kills you i didnt know she warns you about death

  • she doesnt warn you, she takes your soul.. and she mourns for the death

  • One of the more accurate portrayals of the banshee, thank goodness! Wonderfully eerie and it shows that the bean-sidhe is not a malevolent spirit, just a messenger; she warns of approaching death by her lament. Wonderfully done!

  • This is amazing! I love Irish folklore and the animation and sound is eerie and stunning! I would like to see more of this.

  • @cheerbear237 aye we have something in common the banshee and grim reaper are the same just different country

  • oh yeh. i watched this on the website i found it on lol its rlle scary, i rlle wanna go 2 ireland nd found out more lol its soo eerie,
