dude, you should have gone to a mountain. Its hard for them to land also with a place with a lot of trees. So go somewhere you can hide. Then you shoot arrows. I sometimes use shout when they get close, but it will make it easy for them to find you there.

I have full orcish armor fined to Exquisite, 275 total life points, dual wield ebony war axes, level 89 heavy armor and level 74 one handed. I use Dragonrend to force dragons to land and finish them in a few seconds... Sorry, I like bragging =P

if you like good combat and story, go for AC:R, if you're a fan of sandbox RPGs go for Skyrim, but be warned (video may have shown you) the combat is really lackluster.
