I hate the edit they make in syndication to this episode. The point where Martin uses his beer as a way to tell Daphne how he feels is edited out in the syndicated version to the point that it loses its purpose (and confused the heck out of me the first time I saw it again after ten or so years.)

The show is about love. Even though Frasier is sort of vain, you know he loves Martin and Niles. But to me the show was really about Niles and Daphne. It's strange that a show about romance is so appealing to me. And though nether Niles or Daphne are the best looking stars in the world, though I do find her quite attractive, it works so well. As a geek myself, I identify with Niles. How many guys are scared to tell a woman that he loves her because he's afraid it will ruin the friendship?

Funny how Roz is all worked up about being sat next to her ex-boyfriend when the groom is another ex-boyfriend. I think they should have gotten Roz and Donny back together...then at least he would have been happy. Or maybe they should have had Mel and Donny fall for each other. I always felt bad for Donny abd Mel even though I love Daphne and Niles together.

In the episode "To Tell The Truth" Niles was about to just tell Donny about his feelings for Daphne to be honest about the divorce case. Yet an incident occurred and he ended up not telling him. Then Donny started dating Daphne.

Makes me wonder what would have happened if he just told him..

but it ends well anyways so I suppose it doesn't matter :)

It's funny how you can trace the root of all these love dramas back to Frasier

-Frasier persuaded Niles to hire Donny -> Donny got together with Daphne
