  • The next photo of the gun-site will show ot full and it is the same emblem.

  • SimplyBraggis:

Watch the 'Halloween card clarified' and you will see a better picture of the gun-site that what was on what was known as the hill. I think the heli-pad is a different entity. I am waiting for a more full picture of the "gun-site' on the hill. Thanks for the comment and know I do these off the cuff and do mess up at times. Just pressed for time...

  • I don't see the correlation between the helipad cross and Zodiac's logo. His logo is obviously a gun-sight, thats almost a given, considering his method of killing was usually shooting people and he was clearly a gun-nut. I think you have some good theories but on other parts you seem to be reaching.

  • Is not the california veterans association logo but the California Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • It's the guy you will see. You have no idea what we have.

  • @KevinSean116 What people need to know is Zodiac was created in in response to what happened to this man throughout his life. Bullying in any form should be dealt with seriously. I have been patiently waiting for the hand-prints to come back. The truth is this case is nowhere as complicated as it has been made out to be. Sharon Pagaling Hagan as well as Dr. David Van Nuys are the only people that I have found understand this case to a great degree.

  • Not such a huge clue as he was a master criminal and people from his neck of the woods often buy shoes a bit larger as it is cold and they often wear several pairs of socks. Don liked non-skid shoes.

  • I would not much of an investigator if I did not know that now would I? Donald Bujok wore a size 9 shoe according to his prison information. The shoe-prints at Lake Berryessa were a size 10 1/2.

  • Why dont you find out this guys boot size? That could be a huge clue right there.

  • It's just a movie prop that was sent out to promote the Zodiac movie. The original has the skeleton added and Zodiac added decorations to clue you in to who he was in paint which he learned while in Deer Lodge prison. Many inmates painted to pass the time. Bob McNally, a former corrections officer told me many stories about Donald Bujok. He passed just a few months ago. I wanted so bad for him to see the end of what he helped me finish. I miss our weekly talks

    Thank you friend!

  • @KevinSean116

Again, He wrote Paul Averly (Ly) Lee instead of (RY) to give clue to who he was. Lee Boo! The eyes were possibly for the sight seeing sixth infantry of which he was part. He gave you clues; not his whole name! "I'll clue you in" he says.

  • )KevinSean 116) How did you get that halloween card. Donald Lee just might be the

Killer, let us all know when the evidence comes in. I appreciate you work.

    Take/Care

  • Amen!!! Richard!

  • The logo was also there in the 60's....

  • I should have said "Gun site emblem" now you know why I rewrite....

  • It's the man. It drives me crazy because I have sent hand-prints, mug-shot's, and personal pictures, countless interviews with people who knew him and described him to me. I even have personal letters.. Even a copy of his license. It drives me crazy seeing these shows lately that they still don't know who he is. The truth is all of the information to identify him is in LE hands. It's up to them to get a move on. The prints on the stine cab are Donald Lee Bujoks I promise.

    Kevin R. Brooks

  • Yes, I have heard that. I know that Paul Stine's wife said "he only let people he knew ride there" also.

  • It's probably an OK as you say as it was already on the card but he did choose it. I'd love to see the original card to try and get a feel as to what he may have been thinking.

  • Had a long look at the Halloween Card, trying to extract his full name, but struggling.I know this was already present on the card, but the skeleton on the cover is signifying 'OK' with its fingers, and within the card is 'BOO',so we have BOO and OK,and the hanging skeleton relates to his experiences in Jail, giving the J,hence BOO J OK,a bit weak,I know, but still searching.

  • @richardgrinell

Rich he won't give his full name but I will post later what he did say...

  • goldengab: as to your question 2 days ago.

Bryan Hartnell is very hard to get to talk to. He has had so many come forth (as has Law Enforcement) that he wants to put it all behind him in a sense. Most detectives no little about this case; as it was 40 years ago and they have so many other cases to work on ; we only a few. I have tried to contact him but the gatekeeper wanted me to leave a message. I could not in all good conscience leave a message about this horrible event in his life.

  • san1tarium: I am sorry to disappoint you. I do these off the cuff and by my wife’s video camera as we decided 'not to make a production out of this' as everyone else has. We just want to see the surviving victims and heroes such as Bryan Hartnell, Donald Fouke and Robert Graysmith see closure to what Robert kept alive. What do you want to know I'll do my best? I wish more would ask the questions because I can answer them and have.... After the results are announced we will surely do better.

  • MGoBlue951

I think Donald Lee Bujok (when he was at 200 pounds and over) had a similar shape face as Lawrence Kane. Lawrence Kane also wore the black military type glasses (as many people did back then.) Darlene could have met up with many strange men; as she was very friendly and open. That could have been seen as an invitation or that she liked them, when it was in fact just her friendly nature. Donald had an oval face when he was thin and more of a round one when he added weight. .

  • Thanks for your video :) However I was a little disappointed that it was more about your favourite suspect and less about the actual halloween card.

  • It's the closest because it's him. My partners and I have been putting this together for awhile. Julia Brewer sent me the 1st pictures (mugs) over a year ago. My Grandpa was a NYPD 1st grade detective and a great man. Bob McNally a former prison guard at Deer lodge spoke with me many times and he actually was insrumental in many parts of this case. He was a beautiful man and will not be forgotten as he is one of the people that helped solve this. it was a group effort in which we all shared.

  • richardgrinell:

That was the best post ever. I was a member of some of those web-sites and reached out with personal pictures to try to make them a part of what we found. However, I was attacked and chastised and belittled. The people working with me include an Ivy League attorney, a famous rock guitarist and producer, the family of Don Bujok and many fine people from Montana. I promise we will make something good come from this. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket; right? Thanks Rich!

  • Where did you find all those replicas! The man you show at the end is Donald Lee Bujok? It's definitely the closest picture to the Zodiac identikit I have seen so far. It's obvious a very hard case to solve but... what I don't really understand, you have the most important proof --> Brian Hartnell. He could or maybe still can recognize the voice of the killer. I know it sounds different by phone (see Eric Weil) but with all these suspects which one he identified as the killer?

    Thanks

  • It would be great for the families of the victims, which is the real heart of the matter,to have the perpetrator caught or identified. On the flip side, which incidentally I do not subscribe to,is all these Zodiac researchers and websites will effectively put themselves out of business once the crimes are solved and the mystery has gone,so by their very nature they are effectively searching for something they may'be hope they will never find.

    Interesting and intuitive videos,good luck,Rich.

As for the unsolved cyphers. It was been said that madness can be a sign of genius or he may have just put a bunch of symbols together to piss off the cops and keep them busy running in circles. Time will tell. I think we are right as do many others who have seen all of our research. However, only the hand-prints and DNA will tell that for sure. Zodiac could be Tom's "Gaik' or Morph's POI or Troy Houghton. I personally think we have him!

  • richardgrinell: 2 The "soft but forceful slow and measured" (Bryan Hartnell) voice pattern was a result of carefully trying to hide the slight stutter he still had as he was older. Everyone I spoke to from family to friends called it "a soft whisper" and kind of raspy when he spoke up. Bryan Hartnell called it gruff. If Bryan hartnell were to read this description, I think he would agree. The first ciphers were not extremely complicated and solved by a school teacher. I am a teacher too.

  • richardgrinell:

Yes Donald Bujok was severely mentally ill according to the records we have obtained. He did stutter as a child. I believe (as his family does) it occurred after a serious illness when he was in 1st grade. Donald Bujok was very very smart but bullied and teased because of his speech problem and possible dyslexia. (I too suffer from this and have an IQ of 136)) This disorder made him appear slow which was not the case at all. His story is very tragic and sad. cont.....

  • You said that Bujok was severely mentally ill with a speech impediment.Nancy Slover the police dispatcher mentions no speech disorder, just a monotone calm and mocking voice. Also I doubt a man with a severe mental disorder is capable of creating complex ciphers like the 408 as most normal people couldn't even manage it

  • The prints alone will prove he was in California. Yes, we do have other evidence as well. Nothing will make it fact except DNA or hand-prints. However, unlike everyone else that has come forth we have prints, handwriting samples, private pictures, letters. Julia Brewer the Deer Lodge Museum Director and my partner has been a big part in this case as she has dug deep to find evidence as have I. The Bujok family are dear friends. I care about them. Thank you for the question Caresut.

  • Could you please show us some proof that Bujok was even in California at the time of the Zodiac Killer? Your opinions and interpretations do not make it a fact. You have been going all over the internet posting that the case is solved. Is it really?

  • Zodiac wrote inn Blue which is the color of the infantry.

  • RandomStuff991:

Tom Voigt has a great web-site. I don't think there is enough evidence to take Richard Gaikowski too seriously as a suspect. Hand-prints, DNA, handwriting I have not seen from Tom on this suspect. Tom's site has been a great help to all of us Zodiac sleuths. I respect his opinion and wish him luck on Gaik as Zodiac a Zodiac suspect.... He may be right! .

  • Tom Voigt says the zodiac killer is Richard Gaikowski. Since he is the foremost expert, what are your thoughts on his opinion?

  • Also he writes "Paul Averly" instead of Paul Avery in the envelope. Donald Lee Bujok's middle name was "Lee." Could this be be yet another clue?. I'll bet it is!

  • There is also the 6 he makes with his skeleton fingers. Could that be a clue to the 'Sight Seeing Sixth Infantry Division?'

  • Clarify: Donald was a member of: The 6th Infantry Division 51st infantry regiment Light Armored Vehicle. The gun site symbol could have been a heli-pad but I have only seen it in pictures from the 50's at Fort Ord.

  • I'm sorry, LAV stands for Light Armored Vehicle. I do these off the cuff. I'm sure you can tell.
