Damn it, I wish my doctors weren't so specific in their questioning. When I'm asked, "Is it sharp?" that's all I'm going to answer to. I didn't realize that having a feeling of heat afterward was unusual, or that numb feeling was abnormal, or that it isn't normal to have a sunburn-type pain all the time. Docs need to know that even though they don't want to suggest things to their patient, many times the patient will either not know something is abnormal or just won't volunteer that info.
