You no what gets me,people go and say that homosexaulity is a sin and such and down it alot but yet if someone goes and steals or kills they dont say nothing .I am a christian but i have a cousin and a brother who are gay and i love them none the less.

Yeah I know. I talked with one of my teachers who is a christian but she supports gay ppl all the way, and even she said that its sad how Christians don't understand that even though we "sin" they sin too, whether its a small white lie or something, it's still a sin, yet they act as if their perfect and the only sin is homosexuality.

People blame religion for homophobia because it is what caused the anti-gay impression and view.
The holy bible did the ground work and people are still carrying the torch of it. The holy bible is man-made (just a reminder)
A new testament stating something slightly different for homosexuality does not erase the pain, suffering, tears etc that it initially caused and will continue to.

There are some people in the list (primarily one) who i saw was killed by a 'christian' for being gay, saying hes doing Gods work. That kind of media trash only throws people off religion shwoing that it is our fault. I have NO problem with the person, but i dispise the act. Big difference. Doesnt mean i am going to discriminate against gays and shoot them dead.

I think blaming things on Religion is comlete ignorance in your part. Just because God mentioned homosexuality as a bad thing doesnt mean he stated to kill homos. Read the new testament and see what Jesus says about things. I think its quite ignorant to show those people showing signs of 'God Hates Fags' when you havtn even read the new testament. To be honest, i would never want to be gay, and its not like you cant turn away, because you can simply decieve urself into thinking ur gay.
