children. My younger sibs loved blues clues. So if it can give a 10 1/2 yr old ,a 6 yr old, a 3 in half yr old and 2 yr old entertained at same time for long enough for daddy to make food or mommy(no one ever wants to eat my mom's food) go pick up food its a good thing.

um after pee wees playhouse it was decided by kids programming that its best if not everything talked. I agree it feels like Steve is engaging and Joe isn't. It looks like Steve is looking to you and is talking to you when he ask questionz etc. Joe seems to be looking down at us and talking at us not to us. I've seen a couple of with Joe more recently yeah he sucks. I was probaly to old when watched blue clues with Steve being I was born in 85 I dont care it was semi entertaning even to older

I know! I cried when Steve left too. Even as a little kid I thought Joe was stupid.

I used to play this 2-disk Blues Clues computer game that was awesome (and still is, but it keeps locking up whenever Magenta hops on the screen in front of the Land of Great Discovery's rainbowed sky)

When I babysat my little cousin she couldn't stand that new guy. I popped in a old tape I had when I was little with Steve in it: she loved it.

Well, I don't know exactly but I think that show was never shown in Germany, so I had to be contend with Sesame Street - well and shows like Sendung mit der Maus, Lila Laune Bär and Käpt'n Blaubär ^^.

Steve actually showed up once after Joe took over. When he showed everyone what he learned in college he did like a multiplication problem, so I think that whole scholarship for hop-scotch was a fluke :/

Even though I've never heard of Blues Clues, just listening to you talk about it, you really get across in this video the feelings and enjoyment you had and still have about the show. That sense of positive nostalgia and the feel good factor attached with it, its nice to hear you talk about it, I really enjoyed this video. Looking forward to your next 90s rant.
