OH BTW. I heard something really cool today. Being a plant person I agree but never put it all together as a concept. YES The PLANT(s) U were/are looking at is/are alive. The woman said. "All plants do exactly what any Animals do Only slower, so it's harder for us 2 notice" When a plants moves faster (An obvious example VENUS FLY TRAP) it's freaky to us because of our perception & sence of time. They live, eat, drink, sleep, reporduce & eventually die too.
LOL funny you sort of allready figured it out. The FUNGUS was in the process of breaking down. Fungi = breaking down what once was & transforming the energy is basiclly their thing. So the Hence why it was gone the next day. Any insects that could eat the left overs might have gotten to some of its last remains too. LOL Very nice that you caught this on VIDEO! U Go Red~ :)
I did some reading on this and apparently it has something to do with the mushrooms discharging spores. Hopefully a botanist will see this video and comment.

Thanks! I haven't had time to do any research on it yet. I knew there had to be a scientific reason out there.
