Wooow! People say the moog isn't cut out for the heavy stuff, yet the best moog guitar demo on youtube just kicks ass. The others feature great gitarists but all they do is make space sounds and laugh. This is the real deal, applying talent and creativity to utilize the potential of this innovative guitar. I just ordered the moog myself, hope I can get this sound. Listening to it just makes me happy. Keep on playing great music man! And get yourself a moog of your own - become the Moog Master!
awesome playing dude! seriously i love it. how do these pickups sound? your tone is pretty decent but how would you rate them under normal circumstances with no effects or sustain?
Quick question: In full sustain mode, will all 6 strings just begin to vibrate on their own without first being excited? I've yet to see a video of someone playing a lot of chords in full sustain mode without it sounding like Star Trek. Seems unmuted strings are always ringing out, creating that weird spacey sound.
@rouby44 Full sustain allows to create spacy effects but of course the amount of the harmonic product depends from the amount of the "VO Power" and the use of filter/tone.
MG also features the possibility to use a "controlled sustain" so only the string pressed will vibrate endlessly, other strings will mute You can play chords in full sustain but depending from onboard setup of the guitar harmonics can be very emphasized or lowered acting on pickup power ( the so-called VO power).
the moog guitar has infinite demonstration. When i here the intro I think immediatly at David Gilmour. Gilmour, did you see this? buy a moog guitar, and make for us a super mega psychedelic space record!!!
I love everything the Moog guitar does! But how would you rate the pickups when just used as regular guitar pickups into an amp? And the guitar's playability physically? Thanks man. I need this for scoring film.
@Chadfish The guitar itself is what I would call a "modern" guitar. It reminds me of those fancy 90's guitars like Blade, Zion, Eggle or what have you. It hasn't got that vintage feel to it that a lot of the current guitars have. Whether you like it or not is a matter of taste I guess. Being a vintage style Tele or SG player, it took a little time to get used to the feel of this instument. It's versatile though, with the piezo pickup and a strat like extra middle position.

Rispondi a questo video... i think more to Adrian Belew but he has his own exciting parker model... ;) very similar in sustain feature.

A guitar with this much potential to expand the palette of what guitar can be and what do the guy do? 80's metal, Satch clonage, that's what......
