When i first watched this video, I was in my English class and in the end when it Says "a Film by Kyu-bum Lee" Somebody asked, "What kind of name is that is sounds weird" My Substitute Teacher says " Its probably Chinese or Veit." Me: " You guys are so ignorant! Its Korean! Lee Kyu Bum is Korean":) The Teacher just stays quiet...

@christon0123 Thanks for pointing those out. The middle-of-nowhere location is to emphasize the area she grew up in, which is countryside with vast field of wheat. It's also to highlight naive nature of children. As for the reason of the lemonade price is quite simple. In order for the end gag to work, the visual aspect needed to be clear. When the girl stretches out open hand, there is no mistaking she is asking for either 50¢ or 5 glasses of lemonade. $1.25 would be more confusing however.

The reactions felt kinda delayed, like it hadn't quite made the transition from storyboard to animated short yet. Still, wonderful idea, good soundtrack, all around a fun animation.

@lampshadevirus I agree. There are pauses that were about two seconds too long. At the time I was trying to do Chuck Jones thing where he would give time for the audience to laugh. Perhaps the timing would work better in a screening environment.
