War is slowly dieing, despite what people who play it say. I just quit because of its lack of end game and how incredibly unpolished it is. It is a fun game, but it was released way too early.

There are now somewhere around 300k subs, and they had like 400k the month before this, 500k month before that etc

While yes they spited WAR out to soon. It was no where near as big as a bomb as WoW's Warth of the lich king. Shit that had to be a mistake rushing it and making it so they had no end game so the ripped of naxx again. Boring as hell.

I'd much rather see everything hand-designed by artists and all the worlds have their own unique structured quests and interesting locations rather then just a lot of generic stuff.

Can you just IMAGINE the size that this game may have?

Lots of planets, and maybe spacial bases, and they can always add more and more. And also de diversity. There are so many types of planets and stuff that they can put in...it's just...HUGE!. Also, star wars is full of lore, races and fans (both young and aged people love the movies) which means that it can have a good community.

I just hope they don't screw up...this has a LOT of potential. Lot more potencial than blizzard games tbh!

Personally, speaking of the size and scope I hope they go for quality over quantity.

Bioware hasn't did this in some of their games (Mass Effect for a more recent example).

Having many worlds but having them be generic, repetitive mission structures, etc isn't that fun to me.

SWG had this problem, they had these worlds but it was so terribly designed except the cities.like someone just hit a "random generate" button then they all went out for coffee and let a computer develop the worlds.

You can't tell me that it wouldn't be great to have players be Dark/Llight jedi and have intersecting quests that has players on both sides fighting for various goals.

i don't have anything against pvp. I just think it's stupid to judge a game based on the concept if it has no pvp im not getting it. When i play mmo's i focus on the questing and story (if any) and do dungeons with groups and then when i hit the level cap do the end game content (if done well) and then once i find myself satisfied i move onto pvp i find pvp to be the least of my worrys for this game.

I for one think it is stupid to buy a game just for the story. If i want to do that, I still have Oblivian and several gates to lock. And many more to download.

Believe what you wanna believe i find a well written story more enjoyable then something that can be copied and re-done over and over. Stories are never the same and have a better effect in a game to me.

I've not heard that, but no PVP would be a bit disappointing. I'd still get this game, but would have to stop playing and switch to TF2 or something to get my player killing fix :)

It's going to have PvP/RvR. Unless I'm mistaken, Mythic's Warhammer has been referenced more than once as a source of inspiration.
