My family came to America from Poland & Lithuania. I remember my great grandparents speaking Yiddish, but we just regressed to using slang, then not using it at all bcause we went seperate ways. They used to make Gifelte Fish & Matzoh balls that were actually great & all the holidays. I really cherish experiencing & remembering their & my heritage. I want to go back! You have many options, you can travel the country for couple of months, you can work in a kibbutz, if you have high-demand jobs, you can find an exciting job, you may also visit the Jewish Agency website and check what are your options.
