I'd heard about this hit and suspension but I'd never seen it until now. I'm on Wisniewski's side here. Seabrook's hit on Perry was way dirtier. He deserved what he got. And so it's five games to Wisniewski for dealing justice himself instead of letting Campbell and Bettman fail to deal it.

totally agree, Ovechkin is one of my favorite players because he's so exciting and entertaining to watch, but even he should get a penelty for almost every hit he makes....because he jumps at people.

I was covering a guy real tight on the ice and at a whistle I was skating one way looking back at the puck and he drilled me with no call. The next time he got the puck he was trying to go behind his own net and I skated full speed from almost the blueline and launched myself and just drilled him. Still not as good a hit as this one. Just melted him. Paybacks are soooo fun

I think you have things mixed up, Seabrook hit perry and Wisniewski hit Seabrook. Also Wizz got called for charging. You don't stand up for a teammate with an attempt to injure. You drop the gloves. Should be a suspension.

It was a completely clean hit unlike the cooke blindside jam that resulted in savard missing the rest of the season. Seabrook should have kept his head up and he wouldve seen the hit coming. The NHL is a joke for giving Jamie 8 games for a hell of a play. I was at this game yesterday and it was AWESOME.

I was covering a guy real tight on the ice and at a whistle I was skating one way looking back at the puck and he drilled me with no call. The next time he got the puck he was trying to go behind his own net and I skated full speed from almost the blueline and launched myself and just drilled him. Still not as good a hit as this one. Just melted him. Paybacks are soooo fun

Wisniewski's hit on Perry was boarding, no call. Seabrook's hit on Wisniewski was charging AND interference, only got tagged with interference. I don't like seeing guys get hurt, bit Wiz was sticking up for his team mate. This is what happens when refs neglect to make the call, players take it into their own hands. That's how guys get hurt. I think you have things mixed up, Seabrook hit perry and Wisniewski hit Seabrook. Also Wizz got called for charging. The hit on perry wasn't really boarding, seabrook caught him in the upperbody and spun him around and he happened to catch his head on the boards. He wasn't pushed into the boards. You don't stand up for a teammate with an attempt to injure. You drop the gloves. Should be a suspension.
