On the other hand, if Ms Chapur and this adultery make this man more generous, compassionate, nuanced, honest, open-minded, efficient -you got it, a little less republican-, well, then all the benefits for the American people and the liberal causes!

    You dont get it.

    I'm not a right-winger.

It was a fast but wrong assumption.

Even political adversaries have a right to fair treatments.

Lets be astute for a second. This guy is today a blessing and the BEST ally the democrat party can dream of. So lets stop bashing him! There are enough hate-filled bigoted republicans around to do it.

Lets stop being hypocritical ourselves do we really feel so sorry for that awful lawful shrew of his because shes a cuckold? Of course not.

  • I don't get it.

Ok, fine, post-Argentina Sanford, the former favorite republican darling is now the 'bad apple' to get rid of, according to Fox and the GOP.

But where the heck is the "hypocrisy" denounced by Fox in Sanford on Jun 4?

In all fairness, all this truncated and edited bit shows is Sanford having personally evolved over the last 11 years and having a more nuanced and reflective view toward that Clinton issue. Where is the hypocrisy in this?

  • Simple: a reformed hypocrite is still a hypocrite. You can't undo something that has been done, flowery dodges and "nuance" aside. Sanford's reflection in this video succeeded only in helping us recall his inescapable record of hypocrisy, and I thank him for that. Keep it up, big guy.

Sanford/Wilson 2012 - the reamer and the screamer

  • The objection is in 1998, he wasn't hypocritical in his condemnation. He was truthful toward his state of mind back then. He was wrong, but sincere.

  • He held that view in 1998, but remember he admitted many other affairs before this latest one. I don't recall the date of the first one he admitted to.

If I said today I would never steal, then 10 years from now I steal something, I was not a hypocrite today? Since when do beliefs have a start date, other than the date they are expressed? Bizarre logic. Nice try, though.

I like it when wingers have to enter into such tortured logic and play semantic games. Shows we've won. Give up.

  • Sanford/Ensign - the "Family Values" ticket in 2012! Do as we moralize to you, not as we do!

Conan on rethug hypocrisy and demonstrated lack of morality: people were surprised by this because "republicans don't usually do that well with Hispanic women." HAHAHA!
