  • OMG!! Effin' Amazing !!!

    Got Goosebumps !!!!!

  • even when he was out a shape his voice was fuckin great

  • Before the clip had loaded I noticed 194 likes and not a single dislike. It's the first time I see a clip with over a hundred likes with zero dislikes or under 1 dislike/1000likes. Then the clip started and I wasn't amazed anymore, at least about the like/dislike bar.

  • Wow never knew he had done it live...and so well.

  • The King.

  • what a voice, incredible.

  • One team,one badge,one family,one song!!YOU LL NEVER WALK ALONE,my beloved Liverpool!!

  • play that at liverpool games, much better

  • @noname8054; You are More FULL of Shit than a Christmas Turkey, NumNuts!

Elvis Never had a '' fractured spine or any other kind of a fracture of any sort and he was Never on Steroids!

One can not play Raquetball, ride motorcycles, do Karate and TaeKwondo as Elvis DID with a '' fractured spine " ! You know what's fractured? Your Lame BRAIN Skull and ALL of Your Brain matter has done leaked out!!!

  • This must have been the afternoon show, at the Nassau Coliseum....I saw the night show, Elvis sang this song playing the piano that night...I will just say that seeing him live, nothing like it, the man was truly the most charismatic performer...I will never forget it

  • CUANDO EL NACIO, SE QUEBRO EL MOLDE Y YA NO HA HABIDO OTRO IGUAL

  • I wish he'd recovered and lived. It wouldn't matter what he looked like. He was a beautiful person.

  • How the hell can a man sing so freakin well!? This version of you'll never walk alone is called Perfection!

  • This is the performance where a present reviewer wrote that it there ever was a performance that was "naked" in the sense of raw emotion that it was this one.

  • awesome

  • YnWa....

  • Well made. The video is from Cincinnati '76, the audio from Uniondale '75.. Elvis was actually playing the piano and wearing the Gypsy suit during this performance, but it's nice to have some kind of reference to go along with the audio. He's actually singing America the Beautiful in the clip..

  • Wow,what a voice.

  • Awesome,my friend!

  • Just the King ....Fantastic

  • Awesome voice.

  • Gerry and the pacemaker was better

  • @gunsnrosesrocks877

    Good joke ;-)

  • Im a guy so i dont get it! We heard Elvis on records, radio and we never saw him but we all thought he had the greatest voice ever..Who cares how he looks? Have we all looked in the mirror latley? If any of you out there that criticizes about his weight , and you have perfect weight and looks, you DONT have the voice of ELVIS!!

  • Elvis said that he had to move his body when he sung.He said he couldn't help it.It was an itch to move.He also said he could not sing, and stand still. That it bugged the crap out of him.LOL.

  • Elvis sang this while playing the piano at his concerts... this video is not accurate. Elvis is not singing this standing up. Look at Elvis move his leg in this video... it is clearly he is singing to a much faster tempo song.

  • How can a worn-out and over-weight man sing so well? Simply put, because Elvis was daily living out Scripture, in private and in public. Psalm 130 proclaims:

Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! O Lord, hear my voice!

Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!

If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.

My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for daybreak,

  • @JOYisREAL well put and God bless! ;)

  • @JOYisREAL mercy, mercy, and: not judge ... Scripture also say

  • @JOYisREAL

    iLol

  • This Video ist from 1976 and he originally sings "America The Beautiful". The Recording is from 19 July 1975, in Uniondale, NY (08:30 PM)

  • @AlessioCSW - AND ELVIS IS STILL DEAD - OCT 1st 2011, 11:45PM...

  • Song was written by Rodgers and Hammerstein (spelling) in early, early 40's. Song lay basically dormant until until 1956 when the movie "Carousel" was made.

  • not a gospel song by the way it was originally in a play then adopted by Liverpool Fc and many other clubs in the world of soccer and it became a great song

  • not a gospel song by the way it was originally in a play then adopted by Liverpool Fc and many other clubs in the world of soccer and it became a great sonf

  • One of my all time favroite performances by The King!!!!!!

  • Very great...:o)

  • awesome to see any scrap of "E" that is out there. The man had serious gifts

  • So beautiful.... it gives me the chills....: )

  • This concert was in Uniondale, New York at the Nassau Coliseum on the 19th of July 1975. Elvis the king forever.

  • Wow! Thanks for sharing!

  • Very beautiful...: )

  • simply amazing!

  • Fantastic , just fantastic, I miss him so much.

  • What a voice. What a man. I never knew he sang this song live

This has to be one of the best versions of You'll Never Walk Alone.

    From a Liverpool fan

  • He sings each masterful note with such incredible ease. Now that is a voice straight from God. @paulojsp Agreed! his voice is a phenomenon.

  • It cannot be it because Elvis played the song at the piano himself at this concert!!!

  • @raffaelegr the footage aint from this show

so far theres no footage of him singing it

only this footage mixed to the song

the footage is actually from America The Beautiful

  • Thankyou LastElvis90, and thankyou King of Music.

  • Today is 33 years ago he died....

    R.I.P. Elvis

  • Nothing sad here...he was great! What a voice and what an entertainer!

  • This is not a vid from that performance. He played the panio and had a different suit on.

  • luv these rare clips and versions .... he never sang a song same way everytime always something different when live ..... keep uploading gems like this .. thanks

  • This is so beautiful!!! thanks for posting!!

  • Very beautiful...:o)

  • This video is so awesome!!! What a voice the King had. He is the best!!!!

  • Elvis will always live on in our hearts forever!!!! AWESOME AND TOUCHING PERFORMANCE!!!!

Thank you for sharing a beautiful gift with us....

Elvis God bless you.... for you never gone...

  • He´´s playing the piano. This is what critic Nick Cohn, who was there present, said, " Objectively, I have seen better shows, (but) none chilled me as profoundly as those few minutes of Elvis alone at the piano. If great art needs nakedness, it was the most naked performance I've ever witnessed"

  • dang the video camera back then sucked

  • THE BEST OF ALL TIME!

  • Absolutely amazing!!! Elvis was a great singer!! The one and ONLY king!

  • elvis could sing anything.he crossed all musical boundries

  • @savammy - He sounds like a broken leafblower...

  • Johnny Cash could sing nd he was a great performer, but not in Elvis' legue, no one ever will be

  • @MrSean677 true though Johnny Cash was an incredible song writer, something Elvis only ever did once and perhaps may have again had he not passed

  • @MrSean677 J.R Cash is my favourite artist of all time, but i agree, nothing compares with elvis. As Springsteen said; "Everything starts and ends with him. He wrote the book"

  • @MrSean677 - Johnny Cash was 10 times the performer, with 10 times the heart and 10 times the talent!! - Elvis was a overbearing windbag...

  • @dreamwad1 whatever you say; genius

  • @MrSean677 - That's a good policy... (I see you are a big Johnny Cash fan, I just think that Johnny was much deeper and really had a great big heart of gold. Elvis always seemed kind of fake to me but I must admit, he's before my time. Johnny had a longer life and I was fortunate to share the Earth with him for a while.

  • @dreamwad1

If Johnny Cash was anywhere near the performer Elvis was, he would've sold more records. Put music aside and Elvis still smashes Johnny Cash in persona and charisma ratings. I love Johnny Cash, but he was far from the overall human that Elvis was. You're simply a narrow-minded loose cannon with your head way up yours or somebody else's ass. Dreamwad the dickwad.

  • @dreamwad1

Sorry, I didn't understand a thing you said, TROLL.

  • Comment removed

  • @dreamwad1 WTF, do You know WHAT? You are a Ass-Hole Jerk !

  • @BearStar1 - Maybe you should switch to decaf loser! You seem to get way too upset over someone dissing a fat windbag like elvis. Did elvis steal your peanut butter and bacon sandwich? Don't worry, I understand, your hero was a bloated wart hog and he's dead... It must suck to be you. Maybe you'll see the ghost of elvis float through the trailer park!! Then again I doubt even his ghost can float! Maybe it will roll through the trailer park like a overweight steamroller!!

  • @dreamwad1 ; YOU SOB !!! How DARE YOU insult the GREATEST ENTERTAINER in the WHOLE Wide WORLD and THE ARTIST of the CENTURY, the KING of MUSIC , with the Highest Record Sales WORLDWIDE, More than ANY other Performer in the History of Recorded Music ! (RIAA-documented) Over 1.5 BILLION SOLD !!! You're the FAT Windbag Warthog that Sucks to be YOU! Go back into your hole and watch your idiots, Beavis & Butthead! and stuff your Pie Hole with DingDongs and Ho-Ho's ! You Pathetic Sorry POS!

  • @BearStar1 -Touche' -You certainly make a strong argument & have an unwavering loyalty to Elvis. I can sling more insults at you and the King but the truth is, Elvis fans will defend their King like no others & I just love pushing their buttons for the sake of a good You Tube argument. You are a worthy contender with strong integrity who will obviously not recede. I cant help but to acknowledge his talent & success. between U & I (and the internet) I actually listened to Elvis as a kid. C-ya'

  • @dreamwad1 Thank you, I apologize, I was just venting . Didn't mean to offend you, but I do get defensive when anyone attacks Elvis. I've been a big Elvis fan since I was 6 years old and heard him singing on the radio. I'm also a big Johnny Cash fan and listened to him on the radio alot while growing up. Elvis & Johnny toured throughout the South together in the Mid 50's.They were very good friends.

Sun Studios, The '' Million Dollar Quartet " ,( Elvis, Johnny, Jerry Lee Lewis & Carl Perkins.)

  • @dreamwad1 You are right there, We Elvis fans will defend the man to the end of the Earth. I am 17 years old, and have ALWAYS loved Elvis for as long as I can remember. There has been several artists that I have took a liking to over the years. But Elvis has and will always top them all. E used such a passion when he sang. With such soul and feeling which has touched so many hearts over the last 50 or so years. 34 years after his death and El is still known the world over by his first name.xxx

  • @JessLeeming94 - It's great to see younger people with an appreciation for Elvis & older music. Do you listen to other classic stuff or just Elvis? Do you listen to any current music / artists and if so, who? I listen to some current bands like Tortoise. Brokeback, Great Lake Swimmers & Sigur Ros, PLUS lots of classic rock, blues & Jazz... Although I goof on Elvis, his music literally "introduced me to music" when I was but a wee lad...lol. (I'm not as young as you but Elvis is B4 my time also)

  • @lonkny I think it safe to say, I have more than an apprectiation for Elvis lol. He is my idol, and I love the guy. Um, I like anything from the 60's, but I am not a Beatles fan. I like John Barrowman, JLS. I so wish I could have been alive to see him. If I had one wish, It would be to see Elvis. The man amazes me, and every time I see or hear him sing, I get this warm feeling flood through my body. And sometimes when I hear him sing, I become overwhelmed. From what I understand, he did that. xx

  • @JessLeeming94 I am nearly 75 years old and, Jess, I have felt the same as you from the time I was only 15 and heard him singing on a juke box in a local restaurant. When I first heard him, I said to myself, "That guy is different, really different." I had no idea how much his songs would have a hold on me and even at my age, I am finding him singing songs I never knew he recorded and "sometimes when I hear him sing, I become overwhelmed". He seems to touch the heart.

  • @jaymista2 You are so right. Elvis and his music gives me such comfort in a very cruel world. He really touches my heart as well. Even though he died 17 years before I was born, I have NEVER heard a voice like his. He is my hero and I would give anything to see him in concert just once. My friend doesn't seem to understand why I love him so much. I am living with my friend at the moment, and she has banned me from playing his music without my earphones. Nobody my age seems to understand. Xx

  • sad to see... he has had better times...

    but still love him!

  • So sad but true all the same...

  • What fantastic voice , fixes the amount of times he changes his tone ,is a phenomenon

  • This is so true!

  • elvis was a multi billion dollar industry.he had to have people protecting him and handling his affairs. listening to elvis put everything he had into this song makes me mad those people didnt do their job and protect him. cstanchik

  • Elvis actually played piano on this live version

  • Really? I didn't know that! Do you know which version this is?

  • this is the only time he ever sung this song live in concert so it is very rare. these concerts in july 1975 featured many rare live performances compared to his other tours in the 70s

  • Cool!

  • the july 1975 tour was a tense time for elvis. he seemed to be in a bad mood and according to published reports took it out on his band mainly john wiilkinson and kathy westmoreland. he was able to channel that angerr into doing the rare onstage number of youlll never walk alone. cstanchik

  • Yeah, it must have been hard for him...

  • The song is from July 19 1875 Long Island NY and the film from March 1976 where he is actually singing America.. I know as I posted it originally as amusement and it seems to have taking off everywhere.

  • This is absolutely fantastic. His voice is incredible; I didn't think he could do the song justice at this stage of his career.

    Standing ovation time!

  • He may have lost the looks in 76-77 but he NEVER lost the voice...best vocalist of all time period!

  • I love Elvis, but the best vocalist of all time to me is Johnny Cash, becaue he crossed all musical boundaries successfully, and made whatever he sang his own. He also created his own subgenre.

  • What??? Johnny Cash, the best Vocalist? That Man can not sing!

  • Yes he can sing, in fact I heard somewhere where Elvis credited Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash as being the two best singers of them all. Watch the movie Walk The Line, and you'll find that out. Also if he couldn't sing than the labels he was on never would have signed him, and besides the fact Johnny Cash and Elvis were both on Sun Records, and Sam Phillips wouldn't have signed him on, if he knew that Johnny Cash's music wouldn't sell, and it did. He had many # 1 hits.

  • @CashPresley32; For Your Info, Elvis said that Roy Orbison was the Greatest Singer of All time, NOT Johnny Cash. Johnny can sing , but not anything like Elvis! He did not have the Vocal Range as Elvis did! Alot of his songs he sounds more like he's talking , and not singing, as Elvis SANG all his songs. Even tho, I'm a big Johnny Cash fan, I am a Bigger Fan of Elvis because Elvis was the BEST with the Highest Sales Worldwide, more than any other Performer, over 1.5 BILLION !

  • For your info, you are talking to someone who has Classic Autism, and who would be low functioning if it were not for Johnny's music as therapy and a loving mother who worked with me on a daily basis. Also for your information I heard that Elvis did in fact call Roy Orbison the greatest singer of all time, but he called Johnny one of the best. Watch the movie Walk The Line after Johnny leaves the stage, and he points to Johnny Cash, and says "How about that, Johnny Cash everybody."

  • Also to me Johnny sounds like he is singing in various songs like Folsom Prison Blues, I Walk The Line, Ring Of Fire, Big River, Get Rhythm, etc. He sounded like he was talking though in A Boy Named Sue and One Piece At A Time. So to me after all his music has done for me no one can beat Johnny R. Cash. Also watch the end of Walk The Line and it will say he sold more albums than even the Beatles.

  • He only would have been signed on as a songwriter, and other people would have sang his songs, and made them popular, but Johnny Cash sang his own songs and made them popular. Also I owe it all to him, because I am autistic, and his music helped me a lot in my life. If he couldn't sing it never would have help me out at all. It helped me to do things such as talk and read. When I was 6 months old I had headphones placed on my head with Johnny Cash's music playing through them.

  • Basically his music was the only thing that would soothe me. If he couldn't sing it never would would have soothed me. So, if can't talk nice about Johnny Cash, without knowing crap about him first, don't say anything at all.

  • Oh, and I forgot if it were not for Johnny Cash I would still be low functioning, and last year I graduated mainstream on the AB honor roll from high school, and take care of my funds and daily affairs, and I have an IQ of 116. If Johnny Cash couldn't sing worth crap, his music never would have helped me. I have Classic Autism, and most people who have it their IQs are 60 or below.

  • Where was this show and which suit was he wearing? Anyone know? thanks for sharing this.

  • So true
