Us in tri lose Carter Ashton to the NHL. Spokane loses Cowen koper and johnson. Everett and Seattle aren't going anywhere fast. My pick: TRI CITY WINS IT ALL!

Remember game 7 2008? Chiefs dominated that game...won the western conference and celebrated in the toyota arena (the dump) and would not lose another game. Sweeping the Lethbridge Hurricanes to win the WHL and go UNDEFEATED in the MEMORIAL CUP. Tokarski will be a better pro. He had to replace pickard in the world jr. to win Canada a gold medal, he won Memorial Cup MVP, had better stats in the WHL and guess what? Is having a better career in the AHL. AMS are pathetic.

You are a prime example of a poor sport. The Ams fans supported your team through Lethbridge and all the way to the Memorial Cup and all you can do is put our team down. You had an AWESOME team last year (and probably will again this year), but don't forget it took to Game 7 and several overtimes for your team to move past the Ams.

And by the way, your team was the 2008 Memorial Cup Champs, not 2998... but that's fitting for the rest of your post.

The Americans work espically hard to with this and you yourself would cheer that loud if you were on your way to the top. They did very well and I look forward to the next time I put on my Tri City Americans Jersey and sit in my season seat. Great Job Americans now lets take it to the bank next season.

I understand the significance of this win for the Americans franchise as it was the first time they won anything. However the team is celebrating like they just won the Memorial Cup. I've never seen a junior hockey team celebrate winning a regular season championship like that. Seems like it was bad karma especially when you consider that not only did Spokane reverse their fortunes a mere 3 weeks later in the playoffs, they themselves went on to capture the Memorial Cup.

You must not watch much JR Hockey, cuzz it happens all the time. And remember, the AMs have NO history of winning at all, EVER. They have been around 20 years, and have won NOTHING. They just won the Scotty Monroe Trophy that night. For a team that has won nothing, this was huge.

As for The Chiefs, they are the best team in JR Hockey this year. That's why they beat us in the playoffs. We came closest to taking them out though. Since losing to us in game 6, they never lost a game, and went 9-0.

No apology needed dude. It was a GREAT SERIES. Two GREAT teams. It just made me mad that this guy was saying the AMS were overrated and choked. Then, I realized that SAYING that disrespected his OWN team. The Chiefs were great, and they derserve to be the Champs that they are. They didn't need anyone to choke to win. It should be good next year. Both teams should be pretty strong. We lost Yellow and Fast, which will hurt, but we still have a strong core group. Pickard is coming back.

Wow what a series, and the Chiefs won when it counted. As every fan knows the season point total doesn't mean jack, its the playoffs that matter. The Chiefs could have won in 4 games if it hadn't been for a few mistakes. The better teams won as it was obvious, but kudos also for TC for a fight.
