  • cant u have like thermal imaging?

  • 1:10 " haha this is reality were talking about", then he just goes on to say abnch of craaaazy ass shit

  • lets sneek into area 51 !!!

  • Of course the military is funding this

  • After making a cloak, government agents would be allowed to murder, rape, and invade our privacy.

  • @lesma1997 They're going to murder and rape my privacy? Shit.

  • what if only my ass stays visible?

  • the interviewer is a retard!

  • and then some dumbass soldier comes along and leaves his cylinder out, and guess what, its lost...

  • Im invisible now all you see is my type hehehe

  • I know how to make invisibility. this what he is telling might work in a human scale aswell, but it is way to complicated. And come one - silinder soilders?

The clothes must be made of a lot of small balls, you might call them. a ball can be seen from different angels, not like a flat surface. between them are some micro cameras. Every ball is a small screen and will display the collors generated my a computer, that analyses the cameras pictures from the other side. Something like that...

  • @yvan2505 He's American ,with Japanese grandparents and father, where the fuck you got arab from, his name is a fucking give away, MICHIO KAKU!

  • @justgold76 i'm nt talking about Michio Kaku but the arab on his left

  • he made mistake, it is not 3 dimensional, it is 4 dimensional world. Next mistake is that LHC is not only in Switzerland, 2 thirds are in fact in France and 1 third in Switzerland, but ran officialy from Switzerland.

  • Thumbs up if you wanna slap this stupid arab across his f u c k i n g face.

  • @yvan2505 ROFL you fail

  • I will believe on Kaku if someday someone will knock on my door and say "Hey, I am your great great grandfather."

  • As he said, the give away to an invisible soldier would be the 2 floating eyeballs right? well what if the soldier inside the invisible cylinder had some sort of image up on a screen of whats in front of them (outside the cylinder), connected to some sort of external source (a hidden camera) fed back to their monitor with a different wavelength (something weaker than visible light e.g. radar) there for it wont be forced around the cylinder, and the soldier will know whats outside the cylinder?

  • @9Deda Possibly some type of special lens attached to the cylinder or special glasses that would camouflage the soldiers eyeballs. These things will probably have the similar types of properties and would give the soldier's sight back.

  • glass lenses redirecting the light would remove alot of the "eyes"

and most of you are too stupid to remotely understand.

  • 2 floating eye balls ROFLLL !!!! !!!!

  • The interviewer is not worthy to interview this genious in my opinion

  • Comment removed

  • "that's not as sexy as the cloak." pffft! i cracked up at that part! XDDD

  • I can't wait for the day people will come onto this video and say "It's possible now" and will be watching this on how people of the past imagined now, invisibility will be possible someday and someday people will come to this video and it will be a reality for them :)

  • :17 Michio: I was wrong. Interviewer: REALLY!??? NO WAY!

  • The host is GaY!!!

  • Excuse for the typing error.

  • The advantage to become invisible would be great for the U.S. Military to use on the battlefield. It never surprises me how technological advance we can become in the future because of the greay minds we have here in America.

  • @jtatl8961 AHAHHAHAHAHA!

  • @jtatl8961 Go eat your McDonalds and stfu hahahah !

  • @jtatl8961

    You can't be serious.

  • this has already been created scientist recently have made an invinsible paper clip with special crystals look it up

  • We can already bend light with a mirror

  • yea r u mad cause u aint as smart as dr haka is awww TO BAD BITCH LOSER

  • 1. This guy is a whack job. Whilst there is some truth to what he says inTHIS clip -- some of his other videos come straight out of hollywood.

    2. What I find incredibly telling and traumatic, is that the only useful example of application of this technology involves WAR and the US Government.... Cause that's all the US cares about. It's shameful.

  • @locomangoz

it's not only about war. It's about becoming a stronger species!

so we can defend ourselves from alien species.

  • yea u r right bout that too...but the main thing is to become a gods ourself if u want to hear about my thought plz comment me.

  • life for thieves will be so much better. it will cause mad havoc

  • Good God, given enough time humans will harness the technology and be like the Olympians on mount olympus.

  • The government have been working on technology like this for decades. People say there decoding it from alien thousands of years ago. I've read a lot of books on the sumerians who were meant to of had maps and tablets of the solar system thousands of years ago. Who knows ?

  • kool i know wat u r talking about too ive been studying these things too and i know these things much more then u do if u want to know more comment me kool.

  • interviewer FAIL

  • If Michio told me my dick was tied to me ass I would probably believe him.

  • @RealGhostVision Then he would be right

  • Invisibility can be attainable once science understands dark matter.

Dark matter are the only particles which do not absorb or reflect light.

  • cloaking device, lol.

  • Two floating eyeballs.... heh?

  • bueno

  • michio kaku > chuck norris

  • Michio Kaku is human O_o 0:43

  • koja carina....usro sam se od smeha

  • @Eniacbc Yes thats exactly what the professor is saying. thats why at the end of the video he says you'd have to cut holes for the soldier to see out of.

  • the first question and answer was a killer lol

  • Human beings are such retarded beings =.=

All they can think about is money and power. Why waste so much time and effort in creating "invisible tools of war"?

Aren't there other things that are worth more attention?

    ~Jkun~

  • LOLZzzz Sitting Duck Soldiers, Yeah !!!... Fund that Pentagon... :P lolzzz

Shame thatr technology and innovation is till controlled by Bureaucracy and Military

  • wow..nerd rage is hot over this side

  • one needs an electrostatic field emitter, that can increase the particle mass of the air around you in order to bend light which will follow the charged air particles, like the space time effect that doesn't exist, its gravity or extra particle mass deflecting light photons around the planet...i made one last last week and robbed a bank lol

  • Oh you dont even need two open holes you could have an inside device that has a camera somewhere else that makes you see a 3 D image the place around you...

You could assasinate asshole Presidents without needing to hide :-)...And invisible helicopter :P flying inside a cylinder

  • watch the program"how to become invsible" juz go search it on youtube.

  • @KaminariKatta thanks dude very interesting

  • I saw a program once, not sure wich one it was.

They also made invisibilty a true thing.

It was not as sciency as this theory.

They had like front, a blanket if you want, and cameras behind and in front.

And then it projects a image of what's going on behind the person to the front of the "blanket" so it blends with environment.

And making it invisible to what is in front of the person.

  • @Denniisboi

that isnt true invisibility, but more like camouflage

  • If the cylinder is invisible in the visible spectrum, maybe you could use other wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation to "see" it

  • What if you lose the cylinder!?

  • sooo....how do you see the cylinder?

  • i wonder what is Michio kaku's take on human flight?

  • You wouldn't cut out two holes, you would cut out 1 really small hole for a camera.

  • @textualhealing or you would use sonar or satellite imagery

  • Invisible NWO Camera's everywhere... Imagine !!!

In an infinite universe everything is possible.. There is so much more to Come...

  • The nanotechnology required to build metamaterials for visible frequencies of light exists in an even more remarkable material known as a quasicrystal. Quasicrystalline metamaterials exist, and the Government has been developing them there since at least 20 years ago. Whether it was back-engineered from alien technology or just developed by classified private projects(not military but with military personnel) It's about damn time it's out in the mainstream media.

  • @AlienScientist Thats those new humped back crystals your on about, made by Modo Bell industries lol

  • @AlienScientist lol

  • wow kool thing your talking about dude... im a physicists myself and what i know and is doing is to bend light around an object.

  • "if i was invisible would you see me?"

wtf no dumbass thats why you're invisible

  • the interviewer almost nerdgasmed :D

  • So invisibility is possible but theres no way we can use it

  • If i was invisible, would you not see me?

  • terrorist might kidnap kaku

  • just imagine if you were invisable ; 2 guys standing on a street corner you kick 1 of them in the balls what do you think is going to happen.1 intelligent person being invisable could start war (s). you could rule the earth & thats just 1 person. The power of invisability is enormous. The goverments of the world would most undoubtedly take measures against you but you eventually will penetrate.I don't think it's that far off if not already possible.

  • Soldie is like:

"Yesh im invisible im so superman naow! 8D"

-fires gun while standing in cilynder-

    "FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

  • @Gummifunzel BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Now I imagine the enemy's faces seeing a floating gun outside the cylinder xD

  • WAIT. If light is being redirected in front of the soldier, so no one can see him, doesn't that mean no light will reach THE soldier? Making it impossible for HIM to see as well?

Come on! Every action must have a reaction.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vaylemn I followed, I got that, just didn't feel like making another comment. Thanks anyway.

Still, it doesn't work THAT easily, 'cutting holes' is a nice way to exemplify, but the light would still bend and make the soldier confused anyway.

  • @Eniacbc i guess it would be like halo armor lock! it defends you, but you cant move. i guess it would be useful if you were sneaking into somewhere. when the guard comes down the hallway, activate the inviso-suit and when you HEAR him go past, deactivate it and continue on your merry way... before we finish this technonlgy, we need to make a way to stop it! otherwise robbers will become rich and unstoppable. make a giant inviso-suit on your car and escape in a car chase!

  • @lilwill3104 detecting invisible soldiers is not really a problem (from radars to simple fog), motion/sound detectors don't need to see to detect robbers in stores. Stopping that is not the problem.

A good reference is Gray Fox (from Metal Gear Solid), he uses an invisible suit with a built-in camera, and sees through a display inside his mask, with metamaterials + nanotecnology it may be possible to make invisible cameras. Now THAT is dangerous!

  • @Eniacbc He said you have to cut 2 holes, and then people outside would see your two floating eyes. Try watching the video all the way through next time, champ.

  • @TheWallsocket Yeah... 2 floating visible eyes is not being INVISIBLE. I know what he said, and that's not what we're talking about here. Anyway I love when people spew hate at youtube comments, thanks.

  • @Eniacbc If you knew what he said then you would not have asked the question, he made it clear that full invisibility was not possible because of the reasons you stated.

  • @Eniacbc yes, prof. Kaku said that

  • @Eniacbc Secondly, if the light simply passes around the object, it really needs to return back onto our eyes in the same route, otherwise we will see the object as 'Black'

  • @hwud1 oh but the said technology does that, it bends light around the wearer no matter where it comes from (going/returning/whatever)

I think someone running could cause some "ripples" though... turns out the Predator version was pretty accurate xD

  • @Eniacbc

    lmfao owned the professor

  • @Eniacbc you idiot thats why at the end kaku said that you would have to cut holes on the cylinder for the soldier to see but that will be a "dead give away"

dont comment until you have finished watching the video you noob

  • @doiiiiiiiiiii the same way you could read all the comments before commenting. We discussed that already. Not my fault people are thumbing that up, thumb it down if you wish.

  • @Eniacbc

    radars can be used.

but that has its draw backs also.

  • @Groundonrage then again, you have to think how radars work, they just bounce signals from targets back to the detector. If you're redirecting light, some radars will not work. And if you can redirect light, you could do other things to counter other kinds of radars... maybe.

  • @Eniacbc No. Although Kaku does reference "two floating eyeballs", some of the light can be deflected around the eyes while some is allowed to pass through - much like a two-way mirror. And I'm hoping you know that action/reaction applies to Newtons Laws of Motion and is completely meaningless in this context.

  • @michaeljhannigan Yes Newton's Laws blah blah whatever... but not meaningless. Action/reaction can still be applied here with the 'bouncing light' thing, don't worry.

No light reaching your eyes being the action, you being unable to see and your face hitting the wall would be a nice reaction xD

  • @Eniacbc

he clearly said there has to be two eye holes

  • @hogan428 I know, but still, two floating eyes is not invisible. The two-way mirror idea is pretty good, mentioned here before.

  • @Eniacbc

His eyes will be visible, and so light will reach his eyes.

  • @Eniacbc thats exactly why he said u have to cut two eye holes in you cylinder....in another video he explains it more thoroghly, but yes you cannot see through it yet

  • @Sheldon529 LOL now this page if full with replies to my comment, hilarious XD

Why do people even thumb that up?

  • @Eniacbc you are right, but if you one of his documentary he talks about this same problem in detail, and how it can be overcome by small slits around the eyes.

  • @Eniacbc He talks about that in the end of the clip.

  • @Manne5a Would you kindly click the "View all Comments" link and count how many people replied to that? You're gonna LOL!

  • @Eniacbc You was right.. I did LOL ;o

  • @Eniacbc nano cameras and googles that enable watching the images recorded by the nano cameras on a live stream would EASILY fix that problem =) yay, now we have to deal with invisble war =D

  • @TheShadownecro Can't wait to see some Ghosts in action, like StarCraft! "It's getting to hot"

  • @Eniacbc Noooo, he said that the light would bend through the CYLINDER. Not the soldier, the cylinder.

And he already tackled that problem by stating that you'd have to put two holes in it for the soldier to see.

  • @Eniacbc Perhaps the cylinder does not have a roof, as you know photons travel in all directions, so I'm assuming if it has no roof / lid whichever you want to call it, the photons (or light) would be coming through the top, but at a ground level light would be bending around it.

  • @SuperEvilLemon Oh my, that's a VERY interesting idea. But don't you think a topless cover would be worse than a '2 eye-holes' cover?

Because if the enemy base has a "second floor" everyone would be able to see the dude inside, pretty embarrassing way to die =P

But for stationary cover this solution would be awesome!

For mobile cover, as we're talking meta-materials anyway, just do an invisible uniform, no need for a 'cylinder' or some clunky stuff like that.

  • @Eniacbc True, but thinking about it, this material neither of us know if it's soft or solid, perhaps it is a metal and perhaps it needs to be in a particular shape for the light to bend correctly, but one thing we can agree on is this man is very interesting :D

  • @SuperEvilLemon As far as I know, metamaterials can be shaped (or grouped) however needed, I'm just not sure how the 'bending' would work properly on a shirt...

  • @Eniacbc That's why he talks about the two holes... It answers your question.

  • Comment removed

  • @Eniacbc No it is going around him, I can put a blanket around me and still see somewhat through it, his vision wont be great, but it also isn't all light it is some, so other light could hit him.

  • @Eniacbc he did mention that if you watch the video

  • @Eniacbc

Kaku said that, you just need eyeholes in your cloak. ;3

  • @GoldenGohan Dude, if you click "View all comments" and look how many people replied to that... just LOL

  • @Jtownlegends

    We already do.

  • Michio Kaku is a great thinker indeed! A+++ I only wish I had his brain power!!!

  • It would be nice if police officers were able to turn invisible because they could catch bank robbers easier. Obviously you would need a thorough criminal background check for that kind of privilege. Because if that ability got in the hands of bank robbers then society would be a little bit screwed to say the least.

  • since light is hitting the cylinder, you'd be able to see the cylinder, just not the person inside it, right?

  • i would cut a hole for my cock

  • I've read a lot of books regarding invisibility on an occult level. The fact that science is now tackling it is very interesting.

  • Comment removed

  • if it's invisible, just how can the sexiness of it's looks matter? :D

  • this new technologie is here. the USA has it in his power. what to do??

A: use it in military for world domination

B: dont use it at all

C: use it in military for world domination

  • @FrostieBE im gunna go with D. All of the above.

  • @FrostieBE military always gets technological advancements 1st. who else can afford to fund the research & development?

  • @FrostieBE

You're kind of right. When you think about it, what the hell is invisibility useful for anyways?

  • @GamingRebel Girls locker rooms of course.

  • @GamingRebel the military will utilize it

  • ok i will get a detector then :P

  • Michio Kaku seems like such a cool guy, haha. the interviewer is so dumb though :p

  • this technology came off the philidelphia experiment. also remember the george bush bodyguard invisible man picture aka the fishing rod giving it away. the usa has had this technology for years. optical camoflage.

  • chock chock chock chock chock...omg!! wtf is that??!?!? oh no its the invisible helicopter!!

  • @Talis64 i wuz thinking the same thing man

    great minds think aikeeeeeee

  • always gotta do with the military. so annoying.

  • @classAnnaJo annoying but useful, when most of US spending goes to the military, it doesnt hurt to have them do research...

  • I think your' not going to see anything when your inside the cylinder, because light will be bending toward you, therefore no light will reflect to your eyes.. no vision..

  • @soulreaver214 then what would you see? darkness??

  • It's a damn shame that the only institution able to fund this type of research concerning TRUTH is the fucking Pentagon.

The best inventions go to the most destructive hands.

  • Yes but once you're invisible, possible if that may be, the world would be invisible to you, because there is no light rays entering your retina. We might as well need another apparatus for our vision.

  • God I love that guy :P

  • ....So....he got this idea....form Harry Potter?! o_O

  • @Eternalsummersong No lol, he is just putting into terms that everybody could understand.

  • @gizmogeeza: But isn't this a bad idea? I mean If they actually made something to make people invisible there's a chance it could fall into the wrong hands.

  • @Eternalsummersong Yeh it is completely possible. And if we can do it, then so can our enemies. So once invisibility is mastered (at a human level) there will be a lot of changes in the world. But for now, the scale of invisibility is minute, and the idea of a cloak is pretty much in the nowhere right now, because that is very advanced. But yes, one day invisibility will become very dangerous, because people are a danger to themselves.

  • that interviewer is A FUCKING RETARD.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • that interviewer knows nothing.. he's a retarded cockroach..

  • hmm, technology is one thing, but i would prefer to become invisible genetically. become invisible or teleport with a single thought

  • i live at 111 michio kaku street. ohio florida

  • @michiogago01 oh man you're making me lol tonight

  • JAY MAR JOHN GLY TON

  • THERE'S A LOT OF GEEKY GEEKS IN HERE PLEASE USE YOUR HEADs NOT YOUR STOMACH by MJkaku

  • The interviewer is one f.ucking stupid stupid dumb a.ss hole. This is not the way to talk with a genius.

  • Thoughts - If visible light can reform perfectly after travel around a 100% sphere, then the problem is in the recombination for any other object. Using a laser to map the contours of a shape in 360 degrees, we would have recombination points based on the 3D data. A 2D extremities map of deflection points, would be an avenue of experimentation for realtime invisibility.

An analogy would be the way the electron guns work in a TV, with electron guns on the other side too.

  • Dr. Jonathan Reed Uses The Link Bracelet - Alien Technology - On Camera. Odisealink. Watch here ___

    watch?v=-Jmm2SaAbJo

  • hahahaa! "That's not as sexy as the cloak" Good priorities!

  • Kaku's like "I'm too smart and Asian for this fucker to understand me. get me out of here now"

  • "this is reality" 1:11... pwned

  • he coughed @48 seconds-loser

  • It seems Michio does well rehearsing and repeating what he says in his interviews.

  • @MrSpecOps

not really. he does so many interviews and people ask him about same subjects. he basically has em memorized in a way.

  • not if you have a tiny micro camera for vision and the soldier just wears a optic visor inside the cylinder.the govment aint dum.FEMA CAMPS FOR ALL YOU SHEEPLE

  • @spencermel Yes, but then the camera would be visible.

    -IMP ;) :)

  • Michio Kaku is amazing cant wait to see wat this guy figures out next

  • wtf with the interviewer it sucks
