are you playing on Yamaha Sfz snares?? we used those in my high school and I LOVED them. The corp i'm with now uses Pearls which are good too but my first love will always be the SFZ

i love how everyone makes fun of us for going to band camp, and we talk about how difficult 8 to 5's are, and block drills, and arrowheads, and all the other roll stepping things we do, and they say "it doesn't sound hard."
it makes so me mad. like, if you're so tough, why don't you do it? (in 90 degree weather for a few hours)
