My friend, the video is because it's the very first video I had taken, and I was a total novice then. And since the video has come real good, I have left it at that. Hope you have seen all my other videos of Shankh :-)
I get my Shankhs from Madhavbaug. But the real big ones I got them from one of my friend. I requested him to search for the big Shankhs and it took me more than two years to get them coz they really are very big :-) Where in Mumbai do you stay?
Its counts on the lenght of the Sound, but also it counts the Strength / high Pressure or Pitch in the Starting, and the same Skill in the End to release high pitch of Music
@chemicalcrew8 No my dear. I am from Mumbai, and so I don't know where in Pune you get a Shankh. Hope you also liked the one where I am blowing two Shankhs together :-)
@ashrarai1 Thank you for appreciating. It is to spread good positive vibrations around that I have posted this video. Please tell as many to watch it and enjoy the vibrations :-)
@carlosb1 I know for sure where you can get in India, especially Mumbai (Bombay). There is a place in Mumbai called Madhavbaug. Also, you can get it from other coastal cities in India. As a matter of fact, I have around 35 Shankhs (Conches), which I give to every student of mine upon completion of my Shankh Yoga Class.
hi brother. you are from india right. im sure you know what is a urumi melam grp. its a band made out of instruments like thavil, urumi and sanggu aka conch shell. i am havnig trouble blowing it. i can make the sound. but it just dosent come directly . it makes funny sounds b4 coming to the perfect sound
Hi, there. Yes, I am from India, Mumbai. Although you might find me blowing the Shankh very effortlessly, I know that it's very difficult to blow. So, firstly don't be disheartened. Now, what you need to do is, close your eyes and then blow the Shankh. Focus on where you are going wrong and I am sure you will improve with every moment. Best wishes.
Where do you get something like this? I am going to India this summer; I shall be in Mumbai. I wish to purchase a shankha like this, and learn to play it of course.

NO. I did breathe in the beginning and that's it. It's been blown in one single breath. Shall I take your question as a compliment :-)
