With all the abilities you unlock towards the end of the game, all the fights become real pushovers, including this guy the second time around. As much as I liked the story and artistry of this game, the balance and overall gameplay is a bit uneven.

Man i fell so bad for Lethos death. Of course he made Geralds life worse, be he didnt really mean it. And he said he would re-open witcher schools, plus he spared Geralds life, and saved his women (and saved Triss if you choosed other path :D). Well i spared him because there isnt any reason for killing him (even if i would kill him other people still would try to kill Gerald).
What the hell? Lmao the ending cutscene screwed up for you. You somehow was on fire during it and that triggered the battle music which replaced the epic music that should've played instead lol... thats one way of completely killing the drama

Am I the only one who thinks the Witcher is one of the most boring repetitive games I've ever played, and the more I play it the more I want to play Elder Scrolls series all over again just so I can say I played a good game that day?
@mario11168 Actually, they are both solid games. Though the Witcher 2 is repetitive now and then. The Elder Scrolls is better, and it does have more experience than the Witcher series when it comes to game making.
This game wasn't really that great, not a lot of customization and once you learn the combat system there are flaws that make the game extremely easy to beat even on the hardest setting. The ending was shit and the only saving grace to this game was the graphics and the attachment to some of the female characters. Other than that this game was probably a solid 5 out of 10. Not my type of game.. Boring and dull with a terrible ending, gore and sex was great though.

Also, im not sure what you mean by not a lot of customization... there are quite a bit of pieces of armor and A LOT of different silver and steel swords to collect in the game then there are the different bombs, traps, potions and what now. It had a great storyline and characters, amazing graphics, I thought the combat was tons of fun. But anyway, everyone has different tastes. I cant wait for the third!

Early in the game when i met him, it took me forever to beat him. Until i found out daggers wipe him out in seconds.
I just finished the game. By the end, Letho wasn't challenging at all. The easiest fight in the game, really. Because by then your swords and armour are too good for him. Quen, daggers, hit and run = game over.
The Draug was the toughest fight in the game. The Dragon was tricky. But there were many other smaller skirmishes in this game that were very challenging!
@ironmike092471 I found the Draug simple. I beat him first try. The toughest for me was first Letho, but none of the boss fights were terribly difficult.
btw since some people didnt know this, releasing a ladybug in european tradition is that it will find your true love. Geralt just learned about his previous lover Yennefer from Letho... very nice ending.
@TheGALLGALL Had the best weapon... two very good weapons.. Cathine thingy.. and the staff, sorry bro it takes a while to kill him, and he damages you alot also had the best armor..
@Mehow992 Took me about 3 mins on normal with Cathine and a sword orientated build, just kept yrden down most of the time, was one of the easiest fights in the game, he only managed to get 1 hit on me by the end and that was insignificant damage.
When I beat the game, I thought to myself: Nah, this is a glitch, probly have to reinstall the game to get it to show the ending, but jic, im gonna go watch an ending(they promised there'd be 16!!). And here I am, NOT BELIEVING THEY PUT IN SUCH A CRAPPY ENDING. WTF, i spent over 50 hrs on this game and I didn't even get a narration at the end explaining the consequences of my actions? And I bet they won't matter that much in Witcher 3 after you import the save too :(

Also, yeah, Letho explains everything that was unknown(a little deus ex machina, don't ya think?), but I still don't get to see how I bloody made any impact on the North at all.
What do you mean? The ending fits perfect it's role. Because it's more like "To be Continued". What impact? Loredo, Henselt,Foltest Temeria and all that stuff. You'll see the real impact in the witcher 3.
dragon age 1 had a real ending, but in DA 2 they had to start all over again, so if you want "real ending" wait for real ending of the story. They can't change Geralt for someone else.

Playing it on Hard or Insane and you can't spam the crap out of fast attack and Igni, Letho counters a lot, and uses signs, bombs consistently.
I found the game really challenging on hard, going to try on Insane with my old imported save.
