I find that most people who like Animal Collective have some nostalgic and emotional attachments to their songs. I like reading comments and knowing that other people hold these songs as closely as I do, particularly with Strawberry Jam.

i'll always love this song because the first time i heard it, my best friend and i were having such a good time swimming in her neighbor's pool (they were on vacation and my friend's sister was pet-sitting) and my friend put this song on repeat cuz she didn't wanna have to keep getting out of the pool to switch songs. because the song has so many different parts with tons of different sounds, i had no idea when the song started and ended, and it felt amazing. idk why, but it just did.
