  • This is all about truth. What else can we say.

  • I hear Beefheart in this.

  • AMAZING LYRICS,LYRICS WITH A MESSAGE

    google johan capiau

  • The first album I bought from JC.

    HELL YEA>

    9:30 club in DC.....

  • I saw Cale perform this live at CBs the day before the album was recorded. Possibly the best show of my life (and I've seen a lot in 30 years). Guitarist was incredible.

  • Wow, I used to have this LP until I lost it in a divorce 20 years ago. :(

It blew me away and I couldn't understand why it wasn't more popular. Edgy as hell.

  • this LP is out of Print.

    :-(

His coke fuelled paranoia and drinking was making him crazy!!You can it hear it!

  • drno 2150 Hey Its Neil Where is everybody? Warren, Billy, Louis,Jane???? We did this folks Wow

  • I want to add a fuckin comment

  • Top album ^^

  • human intelligence isn't what it used to be either. Yes!

  • This caught him at the height of his epicness, he sort of went weird and druggy in the eighties.

  • wow!!

  • Classic Cale!! Awesome is right!!

  • JOhn plays fretless bass in this song

  • I was there. They had these John Cale posters tacked up all over Bleeker Street.

John wore a hospital get up and played guitar. I especially remember the cover of Memphis Tenn.

  • I envy you. I got to know Cale early 80´s and went to see him live (and still do if possible) and these shows were bloody awesome.

Suposedly back in the 70´s his shows were even freakier, decapting chicken on stage (the famous "Croyden incident") or having sex on stage with a showroom puppet.

Such a shame these gigs waren´t filmed.

Then maybe some youngsters would get a clue what Rock´n Roll used to be.

But then, human intellegance isn´t what it used to be either!

  • @ForARide I saw him during this period, too, and I've loved his solo stuff ever since; more interesting, I think, than what Lou has done, though Lou's done some magnificent stuff, like "New York". Anyway I saw Cale at the Ritz in NYC in like 80 or 81 and when Andy Warhol walked in with his entourage, well, I'll just say it's still a special memory.

  • Awesomeness. Thank you to the uploader, the internet NEEDS this.

  • @Sakhalinskii

    Agree.
