I remember when I was a kid in my neighborhood was an school and one time after school was over, I saw a teacher with lost of kids from that school, teacher was bringing "boxing gloves" and 2 kids kick the shit out each other. after the fight everyone when home and the kids were laughing that was in Peru. the best country in the whole world.

@SparklingNeos Then you should go back to Peru brother. This costume is practiced in Cusco highlands like Chumbivilcas, Espinar and Canas. Also in Antabamba, province in Apurimac among other places. I will there next May 2011, maybe i'll see you there :)

Cusco it is a departamento like a state! and the main city of cusco is's Cusco as well. now where people do this it is a very very small town called Chumbivilcas far faraway from cusco. She just wasn't fully informed, that was all and we are here to clarify it. This is a very old costume where women show how physically prepared are they to work in the next year, same as men do.
