Hey man, when you put the type A core in the type D cube, do you use the type A screws and springs too, or keep the type D hardware?

V-Cube 5x5: I gave the person an Eastsheen 5x5, and Diansheng (Type E) DIY (n.222 painted version). Along with the V-Cube 5x5, he also gave me a Rubik's 4x4 and a Famweatlh 3x3 cube.

V-Cube 7x7: I gave him an Eastsheen 4x4, and a Storebought 3x3.

It was the same guy for both trades. He wasn't the smartest person haha (he made those offers). He probably lost like $40 or something in total.

@pcwizcube - What do you think of the type E .222? I only have the .333 right now, and heard the other one was better. I was thinking of getting one, so I'd like to know how it is compared to the other.

@xxoxia I think the 222 are the bad ones, and the 333 are the good ones.... Either way, yeah, the better one is much better but from what I've heard still doesn't cut corners that great

I'm not the best person to ask what type of DIY cube, because I haven't tried a lot of them.

I think people say that Type A DIY and Cube4you Brand DIYs are pretty good.

I got the Timer / Mat / Bag for ~$28 at the SpeedStacks website.

It costs so much because the timer I have has a data port which you can use to connect to a display or a computer.

I received White V-Cube 5x5, Re-tooled Rubik's Brand 4x4, and a Famwealth 3x3 cube.

view memyselfandpi's video on the v-cube 5 mod. itll make it turn fast and all you have to do is cut bumps off of the corner pieces.

i feel kind of spoiled with all my cubes =[ but i guess i can't really brag because i purchased them all myself. i hopefully will make a tutorial soon.. but idk..
