@Xbox360DeathRow no way. I mean theres always the possibility. but i highly doubt it. It would have to go through Bimini and new providence first before it even made it to exumas. I just got back from my summer in the bahamas ( i work on a charter sailboat for freediving and scuba) and we go to every island all the way from freeport down to rum cay. Im happy to say that there has been no evidence of any oil whatso ever! cheers!

I am a Bahamian, I was born, and raised and still live in the Bahamas, it's amazing how tourist comes to swim and dive in these things....while we locals steer clear of them, Blue holes are very dangerous.

@peneidades Hello, they are very dangerous, because they don't seem to have an ending, most attempts to get to the bottom, prove fruitless! there are unknown organisms living in most of these blue holes, and the current in them are very strong, which is what claim the lives of many bahamians, this one in particular, claim the lives of 3 family members all within minutes of the other. These are all over the Bahamas, this is the largest...and most deadly.
