what is the best deinterlacing method for these recordings? Because I've got this camera too, but don't know what the best deinterlacing meythod is...
why is it sluggish video? im not blaming u, but its prob just the output, (u prob already kno lol) but im planning on buying this camera tohugh, it has great video quality
Hmm, I don't know exactly what you mean by sluggish, but I agree it seems to be running slowly on my computer right now too, the original clip is very smooth. Perhaps Youtube's playback is being sluggish lately.
that is some amazing quality. I have the same camera, what program do you use? I have Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Sony Vegas. If you have any of those programs or if you have iMovie, can you tell me your settings?
how i wish i can watch this in HD. everytime I click "watch in HD" it doesnt play. The screen becomes bigger though but there are small dots circling around in the middle of the screen and it wont play HD!!! Please help! Thank you!
I just bought my SR12 last week and I'm also eager to manipulate it. I heard it is confusing to do so! Grrrr!!!
I uploaded a raw m2ts file from my Sony HDR-12 software, and youtube took it and offers HD viewing.. BUT it halts, stutters and goes slo-mo. So I wonder if there's another method similar to yours without Sony Vegas Pro 8.0?
Hey! Sorry you are having trouble. I posted what I did to another response:
"What I did was edit my raw AVCHD files in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 Then I exported it at 1280x720 using the .mp4 file type. Make sure the bit rate is 5,000,000 with a maximum of 8,000,000. Then just upload it to Youtube and give the system a good long time to process it. It might not be available to view in HD for a few hours after upload due to processing times! Good luck."
thanks for the info, I made my video in Pinnacle Studio 12 then I uploaded in to YouTube, it took 4 hours, then I had to wait 1 hour for the HD to kick in when it was done. so thanks for the info, and check out my video.
I tried to put my video in to YouTube, but it's not in HD every time, it's in standard quality. I have a Sony HDR-SR12 camcorder , but I just can't get it into real HD like yours. how did you get yours into the best HD quality, I really need 2 know so I can get back 2 making videos.
Great images! I've the same camera too, but until now I haven't had enough time to explore it completely. Which format did you use to upload the video?
the Sony cam is doing a great job just when u move the pic is a little bit unclear but yeah that cam rock.. by the way i have the same and made a HD movie from the place I live awesome stuff watch it....
great video showing the HD potential! thanks! how did you upload the HD version of this to youtube? nobody else has seemed to figure it out yet on youtube.. atleast for this camera..

The camera is wonderful, now full HD 1080p video may be uploaded at youtube. Indeed using a tripod would give much better result.

What do you use to edit and export with? Looks Great! I have the same camera and it doesn't look half as good as this.

If it appears sluggish, you may need to upgrade your computer. I have the same camera, and a core 2 quad, looks awesome on this end :)

i think its bad 2 show the license plates and stuff.
the owners of the cars might not like that o well...

agreed

Except you can walk outside right now and see anyone's license plate... what's the big difference? You can also see them on Google maps.

Who cares? it's just my Opinion. But my Father does not like when his Company Vehicles License plates are posted on the Internet.

What do you think someone can do with such information?
