I don't bridge but I hate how no gun works so I can understand, playing host is the only time it is fun. When I'm off host, even the boom-shot (at least for me) only works 50% of the time (and that is after TU6). It is frustrating to play a shooter game and not be able to shoot anyone! If Gears 3 is like Gears 2, I'll never buy another game from Epic!

after reading all the comments I can say that this will not work with XP. Everything is set up properly.

Xbox connected with a cross over to my media computer .

Media Computer wirelessly connected to my router.

Bridged both connections.

ZAP Properly configured with all the IPs.

full party. start game. count to 12. Never gotten host twice in a row which leads me to think that it's just random host not "forced" host.

Has anyone gotten it to work on XP? Did I miss something?

Also if you want help with GOW 2 Lag. If you want to make the video and take credit. I will tell you what you need to do. Its more than just a port forward. Ive done it to my router and a few others and we all seem to do fine until some clown who bridges host with an upload speed of 800 which is not enough to be a good host. Need 2Mbps upload or greater to have a good host connection, your download dont mean shit. If you have 30Mbps down and 800 up (verizon) your connection is garbage
