nowadays they don't release films like this. Bollywood has became to bothered about being western and attracting more people's attention than creating great films.
I do completely agree with the heart touching feelings reflected by various writers , particularly on this scene. I saw the picture when I was a student of 10th class but Even after passing 40 long years the entire film and the particular scene made me cry. and I am pleased that my feeling that I am the only one to cry on this scene , from than onward now has changed and I am not only the one.
I don't know if growing older is a curse or not, there are so much the length of the memory lane we have walked past often haunt with the traces of old good days and good people. I too miss such wonderful people for whom I believed that I was only born because of them. The emptiness grows higher and higher, may be that is what causing the weariness and eventually consume our life too one day.
I am from Uzbekistan and we used to watch the dubbed version of this movie back in old days.
It brings back the memories of all the good people we used to watch this movie together. Most of them have passed away now, but listening to this piece, I lived those old days once again in my mind and heart. Thank you!
