Baring in mind that because lydia is a heavy armour user if you reload or fast travel or what have you she'll revert back to her perk related armour and weps. This is only a temporary solution, though if she has no heavy armour she'll wear the best light armour, but you'll have to pick pocket her steal armour first.

@grazzer88 no she dosent she uses the legendary set of Forsworn gear i gave here all the time >_> just upgrade it better than the set she has on she will allso where falmer and fur if you make it legendary :)

@TheCooperman666 You don't even need to encHant it. Just upgrade it at a workbench. As long as your smithing skill permits you to up the armor rating to something higher than her default armor.

I want her wearing Tavern clothes! I've tried everything! I even have pickpocket skill at 100, the perk to remove equipped items, and two enchanted pickpocket percentage raising items (up to 40% higher now). Still, 0% chance of success. DAMNIT!
