  • IT'S GOODNIGHT IRENE! IT'S GOODNIGHT IRENE! IT'S GOODNIGHT IRENE!

  • ЙАААААААЗЗЬ!!!!!

  • I hear the commentator yell out "cant hate this man" abotu Sakuraba.

But what i can say is, i can hate teh commenator who is australian...jesus shut up

  • @BSW0048 I hate your spelling.

  • A lesson on never surrending, no matter what happens.

  • e jebemu mater

  • Didn't do enough marketing? Sakuraba is fighting! The stadium should be full. Empty seats everywhere.

I wish Saku could just stay in his prime and just keep entertaining us. MMA is kinda getting boring now. No Pride. UFC sucks most of the time.

  • @Mengster13 agree, most of the fights "looks" identical, without styles,i know the need of "mixed" training, but UFC is lacking in great personalities inside the octagon, outside it´s just a circus with a couple of clowns shouting

  • @Mengster13 Fuck yeah man, Pride WAS the most entertaining MMA event on the planet. UFC is full of wankers and "The ultimate fighter" only brings about more douch bags. You only get a handfull of fighters worth all the hype!

  • Legend

  • his a fucking legend

  • commentator: epic face epic face... i came in my pants

  • RESPECT

  • @w817Kaybean hé! gij hier!

  • I miss PrideFC

  • "found some chinks in the armor" ??? wat a terrible analogy!

  • Is sakuraba fighting at dream 17??????

  • @adrielvichi no i don't believe so. he was rumored to fight Sakurai, but Sakurai is going to fight Zaromskis

  • Yessss!!! YESSS!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHH!!!! YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! argh YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! the dude just came!

  • Fuck yeah Sakuraba wins! Awesome fight

  • Ubi ga Zelg, al izvuče se zmija ccc!

  • What a nice comeback.

  • @stevefromchicago Its more the fact that the Japanese promotions have a tendency not to stop Saku's fights so he can pull these off. The Arona fight is an example of it backfiring, very very very badly

  • definitely some damage there. that guy will probably feel that for the rest of his life.

  • THE GOD OF JAPANESE MIX MARTIAL ARTS HAHAHA .....priceless.....

  • ele ´é um guerreiro

  • if they didnt use gloves sakuraba could have lost

  • @onimas1 if they didn't have gloves on, Sakuraba could have a better hold of his toe or leg for a submission, thus being able to finish him before eating all these punches ( that he took as a true legend), or at least a lot earlier. If we think with that kind of logic, mma and other ''fighting sport would be nonsense. And by the way excuse me for my english if I made a few mistakes, my english is not that good.

  • @popowowow i said he could have lost not he will lose but you have a point there

  • @popowowow As it was Galesic had snaps in his foot and ankle while he was delivering the blows. As he put it he thought "well, there goes my foot i might aswell keep punching" then came the snap to his knee.

  • @panther2552 haha am I right in saying you read this in Fighters Only?

  • @ThomussTarbuck read which bro?(left a few comments here so not sure which you're askin about lol) about Zelg's leg? that i saw on his post fight interview.

  • @panther2552 Yeahh thats the one haha. It was in Fighters Only like last month an I thought you might have got it there, Zelgs a boss!

  • @ThomussTarbuck yeah he seems pretty cool. i'll be lookin forward to seeing him fight in the belator tourny this year

  • OMFG is Zelg's knee ok??? i feel bad for him.

  • @cypresspuz he's good now. had his return fight about a month ago and won it.

  • woowww really how many times he gotta hit him so they call the fight

  • fuccccccccccccccck

  • @5:50 "Sakuraba needs to let that leg GOOOOOOO..." Fucking IRRITATING noob commentator! Obviously he doesn't know much about Sakuraba!!!

  • @crocop2231 actually that commentator was Guy Mezgar. He fought Sakuraba to a draw in the first round of the 2000 grand prix. so obviously not a noob and knows Saku well since Saku's beaten many of his stablemates like Vernon White and Ken Shamrock. He was just saying what most trainers woulda been saying in Saku's corner. cept for Saku being ungodly amazing with subs.

  • Excellent both great fighters, finally Zelg returned to the ring or should i say octagon...props to Saku and Benkei

  • Esse cara e incrivel, o verdadeiro samurai

  • saku = ichiro

  • HOW COME THERE WAS A CAGE NOT A RING ??

  • @rovaj13 dream uses the cage sometimes. they used it for dream 12 and 14...

  • Sakuraba is going to be eating out of a straw in a few years

  • thats a bitch win why didnt he fight look at his face!!!!that cunt is weak as piss!!!

  • @gazdalin lol bitch win? the whole time he was working the leg and in the end Saku left the ring with a few bruises and Zelg had to be carted out of the cage. Hopefully Zelg will be able to recover. As for Saku, he's a legend for a reason.

  • THAT IS WHAT LEGENDS DOES......TIME TO RETIRE SAKU, U ARE THE GREATEST,U FANS DON T WANT TO SEE U FALL

  • 2:20

lol The voice is freaking out and not about Sakuraba.

  • @FuckManAllGuys lithuanian?

  • Bad fight fore Zelg! But Zelg is the Future!!!!

    Bog i Hrvati

  • @FuckManAllGuys why u hating on lithunanian people u idiot. this vid has nothing to do with lithuania. damn hes croatian, give ur head a shake u dumb idiot.

  • @FuckManAllGuys lithuanian?? thast zelg , hes croatian u retard

  • who the fuck is alreem?????

  • are u kidding me??? this dude is my new hero . . .

  • its not that bad what it looks , zelg need only 5 operations and 5 years of rest and he vill be fine!

  • Saku fucking masoquist... respect for him :D

  • os velhos roqueros nunca morrem.

sakuraba mitou tava apanhando e ganho.

    warrrrrrr sakuraba

  • he is cumming ? 2:45 ???

  • at 2:40 omg lol.... yes... yes... YES...YESS!

  • haha Michael Schavelo had an orgasim during sakuraba's entrence

  • @BoxingandStrikeforce And another when he got the knee bar.

  • yeeees! yeeeeees! yeeeeees!!

  • @kevinh59 i bet you are a aussie gay fuck that cant fight for shit!!!!

  • @gazdalin why?

  • a fighter with a heart!!!!!!!!!!

  • people look at sakus fights vs arono, the fights vs wanderlei, this is nothing compared to the punishment he absorbed then, if you think saku will tap to this you don't know saku.

  • @XmagnaX arona*

  • I'm a huge Saku fan but anywhere else but Japan, that fight would have been stopped. After his next fight against Mayhem, I hope he can retire. Imagine the knowledge he could pass on to the next generation of fighter if he trained fighters full time.

  • @Gorilla396 I'm gonna respectfully disagree just a lil. I think any good ref would have let the fight continue. Saku's intelligently defending himself through all the striked which is the criteria for stoppage. He covers up when he has to and the entire time is working the sub (galesic had snaps in his foot, ankle and ultimately his knee, during the strikes). Any good ref is going to give a known sub fighter the chance to finish the submission before he's out.

  • @panther2552 I can see your point, but damn he took 11 hard shots starting at 5:43 then Saku rolled and had his head on the mat at 5:54 and he took 10 more hard shots before he even covered his face and those that I counted were just the clean fist to face shots. There were more to the side of the head. I appriciate the fact that the ref let it go and Saku pulled it out but thats a lot. I just dont want Saku getting brain damage like Shamrock.

  • @Gorilla396 Aye he's taking shots then but he's also working the leg. I totally understand not wanting to see him get hurt though.

  • that fight should have been stopped

  • @mjsstujo1 The average boxer get more hits in the head in just one round and luckily not many of them get permanently injured. Here I agree with the referee: let the master finish his work...

  • @mjsstujo1 no. cause saku still had a hold on zelg's foot and was still trying to work the sub. if saku didnt have the hold, then it wouldve been stopped.

  • @mjsstujo1 no idiot

  • THIS MAN IS A TRUE LEGEND UFC HALL OF FAME HAHAHAHAHAHA WAT A JOKE

  • ITS GOODNIGHT ALREEM!

  • 2:45 dude sounds like his about to cream his shorts

  • this announces is a fruit loop

  • Come on men! WAR SAKURABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ...!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes yes yes! orgasm????jajaja

  • Wow he's still one hell of a good fighter! A living legend. Just hope he doesnt ruin his health.

  • HIS A FKING LEGEND AND ONE OF THE BEST GRAPLERS OF ALL TIME HELL YEAH KAZUSHI " THE GRACIE HUNTER" SAKURABAAAAAAAAAA

  • Saku can take a punch for real!

  • Luck didn't land that single leg and it didn't keep that leg trapped. As clean as those strikes were, they took his attention from where it need to be; his leg. Zelg just got played like a fiddle.

  • damn thats heart right there!

  • AMAZING SPEED TAKEDOWN!

  • It was so close to TKO but Sakuraba has mastered the situation very well

  • Bome bolilo je jednog i drugog iako mislim da je puno gore prošao Zelg

  • @TomWalker you thought wrong bitch. I hope he breaks your leg while you scream

out for mercy in front of your wife.

  • @CaroKahn hmm saku can break your leg while banging ur wife at the same time.

  • Unbeliveble, Zelg is my idol, he is unbeliveblly good fighter he has balls of steel, but EVERY time he lose he lose on lame way like this one..

  • @MusiC14545 how is it lame? Saku got the easy take down and had the leg doing damage to it throught the entire length of the fight. Zelg himself said he felt snaps in his foot, ankle then of course in his knee while he was doing the punching.

Nothing lame about it Zelg is a great fighter he just lost to one of if not the greatest MMA fighter ever.

  • Comment removed

  • @MusiC14545 i still don't get where you're saying luckily got his leg? Zelg's awesome but you gotta remember he's fighting Kazushi Sakuraba the greatest submission fighter in MMA history. Even at 40 Saku is dangerous for just that reason he can go home with anyone's arm or leg

  • Comment removed

  • @MusiC14545 wow. i guess you dont know mma that well. having a hold on a single leg isnt luck. its skill. mma fights arent about strikes only. mma was started by ground fighters. the fighters who made mma as popular as it is today were the gracies and sakuraba. and they were all submission fighters.

  • @MusiC14545 You are obviously SUPER FUCKIN IGNORANT lol thats sakuraba hes not some no name asain guy lmao he beat royce gracie? say something

  • @szaboa2

I already did say my opinion...

  • @MusiC14545 Well my opinion is that your opinion is shit, and that you should have no opinion! How do you like them apples?

  • THE GOD OF MMA (seconded)

  • tHE GOD OF MMA

  • omg what is sakurabas head built of ?

  • I counted about 60 shots to the head. Saku's never tapped though and I doubt he ever will. What a warrior!

  • dumb ass commentators saying to let it go then jump on his dick when he submits him lmao

  • he should of lost .if tht was in the ufc it woda been stopd

  • IT'S GOODNIGHT IRENE!!!!

  • 3:05 ... wish that commentator would stfu!

  • I had no idea dream used a cage!

  • man he can take a beating

  • wtf-- the announcer dude starts having a brogasm at around 2:34 when Sakuraba comes out.

  • @nightschase

    YES YES YES YES YESSSSS

    the announcer sounded like robotnik

  • Saku's single leg TD & Kimura have got to be included in MMA version of weapons of mass destruction.

  • @judaschongo i personally think the Kimura should be renamed to the Sakuraba. Atleast the standing rolling version of it. The Gracies named it after Kimura in honor of his victory over Helio, but I haven't seen anyone use to with such grace as Saku. and yep no better Single Leg in MMA history than Saku's

  • @panther2552 well stated!

  • @panther2552 the single leg take down should be renamed 'the sakuraba take down."

  • @VpY22 hehe aye, or atleast rename the standing Kimura the Sakuraba. It was named after Kimura because he defeated Helio with it. Saku beat 4 Gracies, reckon that's worth a change.

  • yes.... yes..... YES... YES!!!

  • i hope he broke his leg

  • What does sakuraba say at the end? translation?

  • the yes's are makin me uncomfortable lolz

  • SAKU IS A LEGEND

  • I'm watching dream 13 right now

  • niceee

  • OMFG! SAKU! this was freaking amazing! cant wait for DREAM 13 tomorrow.

  • what is wrong with the freakin announcer at 2:34 this dude is getting off WAY to hard to Sakuraba

  • @reynaldod7 He's not getting off hard enough. Sakuraba IS the Japanese MMA God. He's holding himself back I'm sure.

  • LOL

  • ni un solo golpè lanzado. increible

  • Who's Irene?

  • ken shamrock has turned away itself and has given his back

  • @Doomork turned away? ken said " i was defending myself and my head got caught on the ropes and the referee stopped the fight.

  • this is clearly that ken shamrock never tapped out against sakaraba...shamed on referee.

  • Looks like the white dude is in more pain, despite how many face shots Sakuraba took--all non-lethal shots.

  • I like Sakuraba's strategy : getting punched in the face repeatadly until his opponent gasses.

  • might wanna watch the fight again bro. as Galesic said there were three different snaps in his leg from the time Saku first took the leg to the final submission

  • anyone else feel awkward when Schiavello kept screaming yes?

  • I thought they had finally gotten rid of that crazy pride bitch.

  • That to me was amazing! Saku got his face pummelled but still grit his teeth and pulled off a great knee bar! Wow. Great stuff, well done Sakuraba. Legend.

  • Get Bas Rutten and Stephen Quadros there in the commentary pronto.

  • amazing fight

  • yes

  • @Julipapa

Hey, why did japan suddenly change the ring into a cage? I always preferred the ring cos it looks and feels better. A cage is too claustrophobic.

Hope the k1/dream guys change back to ring

  • they r working with strike force in order to be more competitive against the ufc, its a good thing, hopefully it will bring more ppl from the ufc over and stop all the dana white BS

  • @womblewandering This was just for one event. Dream had the cage only for this event. It was an experiment more than anything. They returned with the ring in subsequent events.

  • Why did they have cage for this event?

Glad they went back to ring though. Looks and feels much better ;)

  • Do you agree ring is better than cage?

  • No I disagree. I prefer the cage. In a ring, fighters constantly go under the ropes and they have to restart all the time. The cage is better adapted for MMA IMO.

  • @SteveSmith26 Agreed, but cagefigths are way boring when two grapplers face each other, as they use the cage to make the opponent tired, in this scenario ring is more fun.

  • @SteveSmith26 yeah for sure, but if u are in the audience it is more pleasing to watch it in a ring, the cage is too hard to see through, when there is a ring u can actually see the 2 fighters going at it without having to look at the big screen

  • @SteveSmith26 i've always preferred the ring more anyways. dont really know the purpose of the cage except for the "Cool" factor.

  • Wow I like Saku he played a dangerous game going for the sub like that i've seen guys do that before and got ko'ed matter of fact Saku got ko'ed by my twin melvin manoef XD well not my twin but we have the same name. x_x could you imagine having a straight animal as a big brother? he'd probably beat the hell out of just because your there. I know I would. lol

  • Apparently Sakuraba broke a whole bunch of ligaments in Galesic's leg. Every time he change holds he broke another set of ligaments. Well done Saku he is legendary but respect to Galesic!

  • Never retire Saku you're the greatest ever

  • What do you have against Sakuraba?

  • @quezzie13 He is the greatest ever but I hope he does retire. The guy has taken SO much damage I don't want to see him become the MMA version of Muhammad Ali.

  • @Gregolian I agree with you. He has taken too much and come far. There is a point of no return for everything hopefully he doesn't pass it.

  • @nachdehasdeh He has accomplished more than enough to be considered a legend/pioneer for the rest of time that MMA is around so he really has nothing left to prove.

  • @quezzie13 No do retire Saku. You have done your part. You are a legend. No more to prove. Take care of your head and health instead than fight.

  • he was a little bit lucky, some referees would have stopped the fight way earlier.

  • in the states unfortunately yes, but the ref did a good job realizing Saku had the leg still. and if you watch the action closley, when the ref calls "action" saku changes position slightly aswell to show he's fine.

  • you're kidding yourself if you think the referee was in the right. Any human being with a conscious would have have stopped the fight. What most of you don't realise is that Sakuraba has brain damage and taking 20 unanswered shots to the head is inhumane.

  • A referee is going to take in to consideration the fighters history. In Saku's case he's pulled off victories more amazing that this. And in this case there was more of a reason to give him the chance to finish as he did since he was literally working the leg the entire time.

As for brain damage there's still no evidence of it in Saku. Rumors of that surface prior to his 2nd fight with Royce and for that fight to be sanctioned in the states he had to pass physicals testing for brain trauma.

  • is unhuman but he is like a rock and he makes it clear to the rest of the people INSIDE THE RING even the referee gets it he kicked that guys ASS man

  • Only in the UFC

  • Sakuraba is back!
