Lee Feigon isn't a Communist, per se. He is a professor. I would recommend that you read the Battle For China's Past, Minionuup. It's not written by a Communist but by a man who lived during the Cultural Revolution. On another note, the film the Passion of The Mao has some flaws, like the "kinky" stuff for instance. Also, it's a shame that Mr. Feigon doesn't elaborate on the 'deification' that was perpetrated not by Mao but by Lin Biao.
@Minionuup Can you actually back up this accusation with any proof that doesn't come from Cold Warriors or pop 'historians', or are you only capable of appeals to emotion, parroting sensationalist and baseless slander that fits neatly into the 'Communism is evil' narrative that was drilled into you since you were young?
You sound upset that I am stealing from your playbook. And besides, whats left after Cold Warriors or pop 'historians'? The department of education? Any social construct that drives to "equal" out man is pure "evil". Many die whenever it is tried. I don't need anyone to tell me this. All I have to do is observe the world.
@Minionuup In their popularly acclaimed work of terrible scholarship, Jung Chang and Jon Halliday throw out illogical conclusions and an astronomical death toll, providing a long, poorly-formatted list of obfuscated references, many simply fabricated, that the uninitiated would simply gloss over.
But fuck logic; Mao ate babies and bathed in the blood of 8 billion people and that's that because that's the 'official' story I heard from sources that have much to gain from decrying alternatives.
Yeah your right, we should probably get the history directly from the communists. They are well known for their accuracy when it comes to history. Just ask Google.
