  • great, another non-video. four minutes of a still picture, so interesting to watch...

    wtf is youtube for?

  • @DOOMJESUS Just listen to the damn song .

  • dillinger escape plan rules, mike patton rules, perfect harmony

  • CHAOOOOSSSS

  • All I hear and feel is stupidity and lack of self control. There's no deep meaning or expression. Also, the techinique is extremely common, therefore is futile and deserves no further attention.

  • Mike Pattons talent I can't even describe in words. Like wtf? Creative genius

  • THIS CRUSHES MY SKULL.Now THIS IS THE REAL THING!!!!!

  • I can decide whether this is my favorite off this EP or "When Good Dogs Do Bad Things". They're both such awesome songs.

  • heavy as fook

  • @tonambull both

  • mike fucking patton

  • Musicians masturbates them

(In the other stile of single sex, listen "Extraction" CD by Wooten/Howe/Chambers)

  • @Chambrette That album is flawless. Dream team of musicians..glad someone else appreciates it! Chambers other band Niacin is the tits as well

  • both of the comments below me are fucking pointless

  • @lemmehollaatya dillinger's first vocalist was the ish, they just did this in transition to that other fuck. dillinger sucks even more now. this is the best they've got, except "sugar coated sour." talented music, but they're/have been going downhill.

  • @shaynesleeper Downhill? Really? I like the direction they been going better than putting the same album out each time.

  • @lemmehollaatya Relisten to in a year or two. :3 If you're really ignorant, mabye even three years. Get out of your... I assume, metalcore rut, and listen to this.

  • I love this Shit. Amo questa merda. e vaffanculo!

  • GAME! OVER!!

  • Damn baby you SCARY!

  • What a brilliant album/song. I saw DEP in San Francisco @ Slim's back in '04 and Mike Patton was sitting next to me at the bar for 20 minutes. I had no idea until some guys started bugging him and he left.

  • Tommy likey Tommy want wingy

  • I'm so pissed they only made 4 songs together

  • paper...scissors...rock...rock....paper...rock..

    WE WILL ROCK YOUUUU.

somehow thats just not weird anymore.

    nothings weird after patton

  • They should have stayed with Mike.

  • great song but the quality is kinda shitty on this vid

  • WE WILL ROCK YOU!

  • my fave patton fronted song.

such aggression in the first verse.

  • Dillinger kick anus

  • I wonder how many microphones this guy has broken in his career. I wouldn't let him within 100ft of a ribbon mic...lol. Also, I would like him to scream into the eardrums of the American Idol judges until their brains melt. Thanks.

  • haha could you imagine mike patton auditioning for the x factor! haha fucking brill.

  • I'd watch that! I just want to see him freak out Simon...lol. I saw Bungle live back in 1999 during their California tour. This guy is the real deal. No Autotune. No BS.

  • that would be so freaking awesome

  • @zackspoz Yes I can. Mike walking around in circles and jumping forward squatting. Definetely a must watch. :)

  • áhjaa..

  • beautiful

  • Three for Flinching (Revenge of the Porno Clowns favourite song from this band :DD

but your only gonna get it on ebay =[[

such a hard song to find.

  • nahhhhhh try the Moonchild trio Maldoror Milk Cult even Painkiller=)

  • God i love mike patton

is he in any other bands similiar to this one?

  • If you really loved Mike Patton you would know.

  • If you really weren't a cunt you would tell me

  • But I don't know.

  • Calmer?

    One word: Fantomas.

  • Listen to Suspended Animation.

  • Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantômas, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Peeping Tom, and countless other side projects.

  • If you're looking for hardcore patton stuff I would recomend the last fantomas record(april). It's not really hardcore like the dillinger are, but it does have elements of hardcore music. He uses a cool technique throughout the recording process called circuit bending. ex. take a childrens toy that makes noise, make it make noise, bend the actual circuit and record what happens. Trust me there is some cool music in there but that cd takes lots of patience!!!!!!

  • I think the closest one would really be Fantomas. Maybe Mr. Bungle, it's got that chaotic feeling, but with many different elements, like ska, jazz, etc. Tomahawk's got some heavy stuff too, in a cooler, bluesy way, I think.

  • No. Much as Patton is in other bands (as mentioned above) and contributes to hundreds of other artists releases there's nothing directly like this. Fantomas is nowhere near close and Mr Bungle are even further away. All the stuff he did with Zorn is even further removed whether it be Painkiller or the Moonchild Trio stuff. It depends what else you're into.

  • WE WILL ROCK YOU!

  • This(Irony is a Dead Scene) is my favorite DEP release.

  • God you can really notice how Youtube butchers the sound levels sometimes.

  • My favorite from the ep. And that's really saying something. This record broke new ground. Pushed it to the limit. Jesus this song freakin rocks.

  • Mike Patton fucks anything and everything.

  • Quality song.

I prefere The EP over everything they did TBH.

  • Agreed

  • oh my jesus salsa. :D

  • FUCK YEAH!!!

  • wooo berserka

    excellent

  • the perfect match. thanks for posting

  • it's a pleasure! :'D

  • thanks for uploading this!

  • it's a pleasure honey!

  • This is the only album I have ever bought from this band...

  • It's an E.P. to be specific.

  • you need to buy them all dude

  • I hate their singer that's why this album is better to me than anything else they have done and by the way Don Caballero shits more talent than this band. Does that make it all clear now? I love Mike Patton and everything he touches turns to gold I could care less about this garbage "math" rock bands other albums...Patton makes it good Caballero is this genre. A simple no will not suffice for a fan of this disaster of music. Listen to Dysrhythmia if you want what DEP is pretending to be.

  • you're a moron, it's easy to see that now. Don't get me wrong, I love anything Patton related - I pretty much own everything he has ever recorded. I like Caballero and Dysrhythmia as well, but to turn round and shit on DEP is just plain retarded. Calculating Infinity is a genre defining/creating album. Please study up.

  • Korn...and I'm the moron?

  • For Respect is the debut album by Don Caballero, a Pittsburgh-based math rock band. For Respect was released on Touch and Go Records in 1993. Maybe you are the one who needs to do some studying...

  • Don Caballero does not "shit more talent" than this band. that's like saying "buddy rich shits more talent than art blakey," what the fuck is the point? you just feel you need to say something so you don't sound like you're on their dick like everyone else. i understand, but please find something worth discrediting before you just start throwing stones.

P.S. Beethoven shits more talent than Don Caballero

  • Your completely irrelevant arguments that do nothing more than disprove your convictions are starting to annoy me.

Let us speak no more of this and go our separate ways. I wish you no harm and have a personally fulfilling life that i am sure you are capable of leading.

  • you're seeming need to get in the last word proves your lack of ability to admit when you are wrong. I have no idea what argument(s) you are referring to, other than whatever one you have decided we are having. I don't dislike Don Caballero either so don't think I have some need to hate on them.

  • I don't think it is DEP's intention to sound anything like Don Cab.

All DEP is classic in my mind. It took me a while to warm up to their poppier stuff.

I love Don Cab and the Don Cab cover band, Dysrhythmia.

  • When in my ranting did I ever mention that I assumed DEP wanted to sound akin to Don Cab? If I remember correctly I relayed "Don Caballero shits more talent than this band." Since when has Dysrhythmia been a cover band? I am very confused by your statements.

  • Hmm, I can't find my comment, so I forget what I said. But you did say that DEP are pretending to be something akin to Dysrhythmia - which I don't believe their intent to be at all. Anyways, cheers.

  • Their music is great...until screamo invades it by form of their singer, which inspired clones with less talent but similar feel to recreate the DEP sound. It makes me sad when that stuff happens. I.E. TDWP, Silverstein, etc.

  • I wouldn't call Greg screamo... but I will agree on the throngs of clones. So many tech-metal wannabes popped up after Calculating Infinity.

  • Wtf is wrong with Dysrhythmia? Great band, although I still liked Clayton more.

  • Dysrhythmia isn't a cover band.

  • Dysrhytmia was the name of the first Gavin Harrison band...

  • I know, I was just poking fun a some dude below...

  • Oh haha I see.

  • great post

  • Song is rockin'
