Population control won't stop polution, population control doesn't deal with food shortages, population control does not deal with the situation that causes people to have many children. My conclusion is that population control only does harm, and does no good.

Never been worse than today. I deal with farmers a lot, I know. Control? If they can't control their breeding, they need to have it controlled. People who have drug & alcohol addictions, mental illnesses, fanatical thinking, hereditary diseases should not be allowed to have kids period.

We produce more than enough food to feed the world's population, yet so many starve. The cause for this is our economic system, not overpopulation. My mother's side of the family are all farmers, I also spent some of my time working on a farm.
The people who will do the controlling will also be in charge of selecting those who they want to control. Your population control is nothing more than an excuse for the power hungry, it does not deal with actual problems.

That means if someone's birth control, vasectomy, or tubal ligation fails someone like you will expect them to get an abortion. That's not a big deal to you but it's a big deal to other people. Population control did not help China with their massive pollution. They are the worst offenders on the planet. Technology, education and true conservation are the solution not snipping nut strings.
