i fucking forgot about this song,i was browsing 911 tabs Budgie section and i remembered this song, it is brilliant and one of the most underrated songs in the history of heavy metal, maiden should cover this song.
This album had a few good tunes, but yes the worst. impecable had a few good tunes also, but ughhh. Power suply was a good album, and I also like Nightflight., Never turn your back, In for the kill and Bandolier. The first albums were ahead of their time but pretty good.

saw budgie at shanklin pier on the i o w in 81 the old victorian place shook a hand full of people there and freezing cold then saw them again at reading in 82 my first festival was out of my face for 3 days slept where i collapsed we all did best times ever budgie were amazing
this is maybe the best rock´n´roll album ever recorded, better than the hole beatles catalouge, zeppelin dito and so on...its even better than the first 5 budgie albums...this is better than what is coming up in gods own studio
I followed them on the Deliver us From Evil Tour. They were awesome live but yes, the purests didn'y like the new stuff as much as the classic Breadfan and such but what the hell, thedy were great.
Deliver Us From Evil is by far the worst Budgie album. No comparison to either one of the first five LPs. One of the worst cds on my shelf. Terrible disapointment. And I consider myself a huge Budgie fan...
@Moriremtots have to disagree. maybe a bit more commercial than other albums, but this should have launched them to stardom. if my memory serves me right they were supporting ozzy whilst promoting this album and getting rave revues. dont know what went wrong

After Tony Bourge left the band, Budgie went to hell in a handbasket. This is pop metal crap . John Thomas sounded like every young early 80's metal guitarist. Bourge had a very personal style that defined Budgie's sound.
@veedmo agree, stopped listening after nightflight, realy a descent work, as pow.suppl was, first time i hear this, sounds like health centre commercial
@veedmo Bro, I hear you loud and clear here! Budige's first 5 albums are by far the best ever recorded, but this sounds like some cheesy song made or an 80s B flick! Much as I love Budgie, this is unbearable!

@veedmo It's not that good but it has its moments, this one, NORAD, Truth Drug for example. My least fave #budgie album is Impeckable

@veedmo likewise, gotten the LP back then and was kind of shock!..sound utterly commercial
... and altogether differ from the earlier 5 including "IMPECCABLE" .
...reckon the " IMPECCABLE" was probably the last of the Budgie's genre

@veedmo like to add....reckon 'flowers in the attic' is the consolation..

'Deliver Us From Evil' was/is amazing (safe for 'Alison') and this song is no exception. So underrated in the Budgie catalog.
