@hamboards well it started snowing where i live now so i can't really ride much now =/ but i loved it really easy to get the hang of super fun all my friends loved it too! when they looked at it they didn't accept it as a longboard but they rode it and changed their opinion and loved it XD and now i can't wait till the weather gets better so i can ride!
@rockpetrad and on a weird little side note when the board came in the front truck was backwards XP but in a weird way i loved it cause i love how these boards are hand built and we're all only human we all make mistakes i wish more american industries still hand built their product so it made me smile when i saw that XD

@joedarealskater their cheapest one is 345$. Honestly man, i like longboarding and skateboarding, but if you wanna be serious like doing tricks and having real fun and a real skating experience, buy an apex 34 or 37 from original. Hamboards are cool and all but you cant do tricks, bomb hills, or anything but cruise. And the trucks they use are original trucks and they are overpriced, handmade or not.
@StupidKidsNation We Love Original too. The whole team there and the great product they put out. Our boards are in a different category so you are right they don't compare. Hamboards do some different things better and vise a versa. But we make a high quality product that costs us a ton to do right and we aren't ripping anyone off...this is a labor of love. Try one some time, you might like it a little.
@hamboards have yall ever tried different trucks like some slalom trucks,the Original trucks have a twitchy feeling and need alot of maintain especially around sand cause if you do you end up with a horrible squeak,the wave cam can break if tighten to much.Ya Feel Me?
@ThatOneGuy1027 good points, but most any mechanism exposed to sand and grit in constant use situations will need occasional maintenance. I look at the cam as a bushing, and like bushings in race car suspensions in high stress situations they need to be maintained and occasionally replaced. You have to replace bushings regularly on trick boards.
@hamboards I agree i have original s10 on my pintail and they do require much maintenance but the ride is unlike any other and gives you the most surf style carvin.props though guys nice boards
@hamboards I don't care what you're doing. Always wear a helmet whenever you're on a board. You could trip with your cross stepping, fall forward, and boom. Permanent brain damage. Don't take it so lightly. Just trying to spread the stoke.
Gus must be incredible to watch surfing. I've literally watched this video at least a hundred times. I'm definitely getting a HamBoard for my birthday next week. Thank you so much. I've always loved surfing, but I live in Utah... No beaches. Just wake surfing... And surfing on vacation...
@oibio1 that's a good point, we do when ride them in skateparks or similar situations. But when we are just on the cruise...not so much. I pretty sure we aren't even wearin shoes.
@OValencia229 They are so expensive, because they are handmade and have uber high quality components and hardware. We didn't intend for it end up costing this much but we refused to make compromises and shot to make the very best board we could. It sucks, I wish they half as much as they are. (but they do last )

Even though it seems like a big Hamboard would wheel bite like crazy...in fact, there is no wheel bite at all. When you ride any model Hamboard you can drive it hard over in a turn and its all good.

Even though it seems like a big Hamboard would wheel bite like crazy...in fact, there is no wheel bite at all. When you ride any model Hamboard you can drive it hard over in a turn and its all good.
