The comics page was never the same after Bloom County exploded onto the scene. Calvin and Hobbs was my second favorite. But Bloom County was just so real! No comic has ever made me laugh out loud as hard.

Very cool. I was a huge fan of Bloom County also and I always wondered how many song entries were submitted to this contest and if there are any more to listen to on here? Good job Ted. Even though you didn't win, you must have been thrilled at the opportunity to participate in a little piece of comic history. After all, Bloom County was a Pulitzer prize winning strip. Do you happen to know how many entries there were?
